You wife will need to be with you when you apply for the 60 day extension. You will need your marriage certificate plus a copy and copies of your wife's house book registry and ID card. You will also need proof of residence unless living where your wife's house book is for.

    The fee is 1900 baht.

    Thanks

You will get a new 90 day entry at a border crossing. I suggest you avoid Poi Pet or Ranong for the crossing they have been giving grief to those with multiple entry visas.

If you want to avoid the crossing you could at apply at your local immigration office for a 60 day extension to visit your wife.

    Thanks for the quick response.

Any idea what docs I need to provide and the charges.?

    Thanks

  3. Hi All,

Been about 3 years since I had to do a visa run as I have been returning to Aus periodically within my allowed 90 days per stay. Just wondering how the rules have changed and what my best options are now.

Living just outside Bkk. Have Non-immigrant "O" visa through marriage in Australian passport. Non working in Thailand, no cash in Thai bank account and no external income I can show.

My 90 days will be up in the beginning of February and will need to do a visa run then.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what my best options are to get another 60 - 90 days?

What will a Thai immigration office give me? 60 Days? and what will a land border crossing give me? or do I now need to fly?

    Thanks In advance..

  4. When you upgraded to Win 7 Premium:

""but just by providing online a valid Registration Code to Windows""

Does this mean that u just upgraded online with "windows anytime upgrade"?

    or

Did you fully re-install Win 7 Premuim over the top of Starter?

Does the Bios see 4GB of ram...? u get to the Bios on startup. Depending on the laptop it is accessed with "DEL" or a Function Key"

Did you see 4GB in Vista? Your laptop may only support up to 2GB or Ram.. What mobel Laptop is it?

  5. I think the Law is that chainsaws over a certain blade length require a licence. Think is is 10 Inches Max

Here on Samui some of the local hareware stores sell them (the ones not requiring a licence)

They sell for about 6k on Samui and about 4k in Bkk. Had a mate that bought one in Bkk and lent it to me to remove some trees...

    Where are you?

  6. Utorrent does everything you need. Just click on the tabs at the bottom General/trackers/peers/pieces/FILES/etc...

If you click on the files tab you can see each individual file and change there priority to low/normal/high

  7. All depends on the purpose of the account...

If you are receiving money to transfer to your Thai bank account then PayPal decide the exchange rate into Baht, which is a bad rate. Best to have a paypal account in a real country that is the same currency as your payments so there is no conversion required.

I have a Thai Paypal account which I used when selling on ebay. Set it up with a Kbank Debit card (web card) with no problems. But got screwed on the exchange rate as Paypal do not allow you to receive payments in Thai Baht.

Why do you need a Thai Paypal account?
