Another reason not to get involved with properties, biz..etc.
Interesting....so living on the street will be the only option? Because everything else is "properties, biz etc." ????

Sorry to hear about your trouble.

Even this thread is a bit older just a recent update: Bangkok Bank Jomtien 2nd road is very easy to deal with.

Yes, unfortunately the search function is not working. Any chance to get this fixed?

After reading the following posts by him maybe also with a doctor. Very confusing what the thread starter is saying here.
I would also suggest to hire an agent and let him deal and especially communicate with the officials to get things sorted.

Hi, does anyone know if the beaches are "open"? For example the one at Cozy Beach with the sunbeds? Is it allowed to "sunbathe" there alone and support the local sunlounge sellers by doing so? Or is this all closed and not worth a trip?

Hi,
I'm looking for a "normal" health insurance for my Thai gf to cover expenses in case she got sick, has an accident with her car or whatever. I did a lot of research but didn't find much useful so far. Would be thankful for any kind of recommendation.
Many thanks,
Joe

Can confirm 2 friends yesterday drove from Pattaya to BKK airport and traveled to Phuket by plane without any issues. But today the news came out anyway that the Phuket governor has lifted the quarantine for arrivals from (inter alia) Bangkok so things should be safe. We can expect similar "news" from other provinces within the next few days thanks to the low numbers of new infections.

You(r friend) seems to be very long on the way to the airport. Any update on this story?

Are you one of these guys that also starts to drive at a red light if there is no other car and traffic in sight? You are a guest here in this country, just follow the rules

The first part of your sentence: well done, Thailand.
The second part of building up a medical infratsructure so that Thailand can handle a lower number of active cases over the next years (same as every country in the world needs to do): big fail.
I have no idea what they are waiting for, the current procedure destroys the living of millions of Thai people.

The Nation writes today:
""“In the future, foreign tourists wanting to visit Thailand will have to apply a month ahead & must agree to a 14-day quarantine upon arrival.”""
So if they open like this NOBODY will come.

Worldwide travel will be on hold for a very long time and please do expect that people from these countries with the highest covid numbers will be the very last that will be allowed to travel again without issues and restrictions.
I wish I could fly to Thailand without any issues in May again. I fear it will take at least until August/September until international tourism somehow is restarting.

There was no word about bars closing at 8pm.
It was about closing venues with a capacity of more than 50 people. No idea where this wrong information is coming from.

They just want people to have the right visa. If you are living in Thailand they want you to have a long term visa. etc.
Exactly!
12 minutes ago, Don Chance said:If the situation gets really bad there will be problems with the airlines because they are on the hook for a return flight so they will require thai visa's for travelers. This would be seriously hurt tourism.
I guess so far the amount of people "not let in" must be far too small compared to the amount of people that are "let in". Training and checking employes for checking proper visas and/or installing software to look this up at hundreds of airports most likely cost a lot of more money than flying back the few that aren't let in. Beside that: if you are not let in you need to buy or pay for your return ticket anyway, so the airline is not losing any money here.

Had exactly the same issue - horrible! They close an account from one moment to another for no valid reason, impossible to talk to anyone. They kept money for months on hold and paid it out after deducting some strange fees for closing the account. Never again.
