Someody slap the idiot - such a backwards country.
Haven't touched a cigarette for over 5 years since I switched to vaping. Not very nice always worrying you'll get extorted at the next police checkpoint, even though possession is actually not banned. This is what happens when a corrupt military leader takes charge, they get big money from big tobacco to stop any opposition to their fortune. They don't give a s..t about the damage it does to peoples lungs.
Time for a BIG change

Isn't the main health issue of conventional cigarettes the toxic, carcinogenic smoke with it's dangerous tar, which damages the lung and causes cancer, rather than the nicotine itself? And is not exactly this the point in which e-cigarettes are better than conventional cigarettes, providing a health benefit not only to the smoking person himself, but also to the whole society and it's health system?
Exactly. They're only protecting Big Tobacco who put money into their pockets. How about protecting youth from dangerous drugs such as yabba and ice? Now they're talking about legalising personal use of marijuana, and how is that administered??? through Smoking it into your lungs. Thai authorities need to read the evidence of all the research done in English, American and New Zealand universities to get the REAL facts...that vaping is 95% safer than smoking tobacco.
I was a cigarette smoker for 49 years non stop, now for 4 years vaping and never felt better, breathing, no couching and saving a lot of money that would have gone into Big Tobacco and corrupt Thai pockets.
End of winge ????

Just today, the CEO of Qantas airlines of Australia has said that overseas travelers will need to have the vaccination before travelling. Australia has a VERY VERY low rate of covid and has cleared most states completely.
So why can't Thailand start a travel bubble with Australia and some other countries with low or no community transmission. Australians are VERY keen to get back to the popular tourist spots and spend money.
Come on Thai govt...wake up and help the Thai people get back on their feet.

Like most counties, it's illegal and a zero torrelance. <deleted> learn the rules before you go to other counties, It's not rocket science. Don't think because it's ok in your country, then it's ok In thailand.
I am a vapour (e-cigarettes) legal in most civilised countries but illegal In Thailand. Go figure 55555.

I just hope people remember this when election time comes around, that is, if it's not rigged like the last one.

Off topic, I am heading to Sydney next week and I am a vaper, how much is ejuice in Sydney? And where can it be bought ?
just want to know to see if I should bring my own or buy there
Not really off topic. Anyway, you can't buy ejuice in Australia that contains nicotine, so you best bring your supply with you. If you're coming to live then you'll need to buy off the net but not in large quantities.

e-cigs got me off of regular cigarettes after 49 years. Nicotine level high to begin and then medium and then low and then none and then quit e-cigs too. Haven't smoked in 7 years now.
Coincidentally I smoked for 49 years (since school) and have now been vaping for over three years and only had a few cigarettes (in Thailand where e-cigs are illegal) in all that time. I have to buy my e-juice from over-seas because it's not available with nicotine in oz. US and UK studies all give e-cigs the thumbs up and say it's 95% safer than smoking tobacco.
End of rant.

And it's STILL illegal to Vape (e-cigarettes). When are the Thai govt. going to wake up?

If they legalize vaping they will give Thai people an easier option to quit cigarettes. Worked for me for over 3 years now (except when I holiday there ????).

Huh?
If that was you with a hook hanging out of your mouth I think you'd be screaming bloody murder. Your lucky fish can't scream.
The Silence of the Fish. Where is Dr. Lector to explain it all?
I said "without too much stress or damage". I didn't say none. Catching any fish with a hook and line always causes some stress to a fish, but I try to keep it to a minimum. I'm guessing you're a greenie tree hugging vegan or vegetarian. Good luck to you. I enjoy meat including fish.

I release most of my SBT (Souther Bluefin Tuna) and Albacore Tuna because I don't eat them, I prefer other fish.
We're not allowed to sell them being recreational fisherman. I occasionally save one for a friend. It'd be nice to sell one just to cover the cost of my fuel trolling around all day, but I love the sport of the fight, then let them go without too much stress or any damage to the fish. Great fun.
