There was smog down to Surat thani, also Kanchanburi, so the map does not seem very acuate...but other useful, thanks.

I would like to go back to India but can't stand pollution. Same with Nepal.

I was in Bangkok and the dust was giving me a headache so i decided to go to the Kanchanaburi but the same dust and smog was there. So down to Prachuap i went and here i am but the dust is still here, you can smell it in the air. It reminds me of India years ago, it gives things a certain look.

So what is up with all this dust? It is only January, usually it is March when things get like this?

I don't think google  or TA would give up your identity very easily.

Well they are Buddhist and very nice people actual, i like the food they are always very kind and give me big portions. I suspect they don't want to offend the birds, LOL. There is only one other veg place in town which is not as good...

I really like this place and eat there almost every day. Lately i've noticed that that small birds fly in and eat from the trays and from the rice pot if it is not covered. I mentioned this to the lady and she said,,"soarry, soarry.." and shooed them away. I notice these bird are always out from of the restaurant waiting there. Should i be concerned with H5N1?

Thai's on vacation are noisy - avoid Thai hotels better stay at place gear toward farangs.

I wish, i've been room bound for 2 days with sun stroke. Also meet a few other with the same red, bewildered face.

You guys really need to visit India or Nepal once a year. Speak some english, take  a whiff of the garage and come back to Thailand - you will precipitate it much more.

A number of people (including myself) been severely burned by the sun in the last few days. It seems that there is an extreme UV risk at the moment.
