He was not my friend, and i guess he was to sick to think about such matters and as a tourist not informed. I'm sure he wold let the hospital manage that, had they asked him.
https://www.aftonbladet.se/nyheter/a/6nBOje/hjartsjuke-kent-52-slangdes-i-fangelseEven if it's not your friend, helping somebody in such a situation is a good deed.

Whatever you do, don't ask the police for help. A heartsick swede did that after being hospitalized for heart failure so long that his visa expired. He was perhaps confused when released from the hospital, and went to the police. They trowed him in monkeyhouse without medicine and he almost died.
Being on an overstay, the police would be the last address to show up. Why did your friend not inform the Immigration when he's in the hospital? Or let the hospital manage that? Even when a relative or gf would show up at Immigration with proof, there wouldn't have been a problem.

Not sure your analogy works. One is a crime and the other is just breaking the law.
Then it's up to anybody to differentiate what's considered a crime and what breaking the law is? Sometimes one goes only with the other, and some overstayers have to do illegal activities to finance their stay.

As you have noted, he is already breaking the law
Wouldnt it be sensible to overstay to 364 days taking account of the guys mental state ?
His punishment is going to be the same if he hands himself in today or on his penultimate day, so why not ?
I guess the debate here is that sticklers for the 'rule book' will want this guy hanged where as the non-conformists will argue he might as well see out his overstay he is now engaged in
I always find it amusing when I see members on any forum with a name that is also advice, when its obvious they dont seem to heed that advice themselves ?
But your suggestion to break the law even a bit more is okay? Don't you think that it's quite irritating for the OP to make a decision now after so many others have suggested to go to the airport and pay the fine?
Is it okay to create more problems for the OP? And a longer overstay, if getting caught, is a serious problem.

Some of the people here must live in some awful parts of Thailand to say what they experience on roads.
As for dogs if you have a big wheel semi-off road bike dogs are just a another bump in the road.
I've seen a Honda Accord on the 226 between Kantharalom and Ubon after hitting a middle-sized dog. The whole front was damaged in a way that driving wasn't an option anymore. I wouldn't want to hit a middle-sized dog with such a big wheeled "semi off-road bike", my bumper takes quite a lot impact. Not for anything in the world.

Where in Thailand do you live? There are buffaloes, cows and other animals, including airborne vehicles coming from all directions. OP, have you got a good life insurance? Try to survive Sisaket's rush hour for a week and you can drive everywhere.

OP< please see attached visa form for Savannakhet. No time wasted, they usually sell these forms opposite the consulate.
There's a nice pub with live music for the evening on the main road and a great restaurant with a big penguin in front close to the Mekhong river. The visa for Laos is much cheaper when you've got some dollars. Do not pay an additional 200 baht after you've purchased and paid for your visa. They often try it.

Never had much trouble with crowns, but I had a root canal that took six months and ended (a few years later) as an implant. Please stop, you scare the <deleted> out of me now. I had one done before but didn't remember the long procedure, sitting for two hours on the chair, the procedure is perverted and painful. I should have gone every six months, but.................................................

I had a 22 automatic rifle and a 12 gage break-barrel when I was 13, qualified for my high school rifle team and passed the NRA safe hunter test when I was 15, (did not actually make the team) and had some range training with a new P226 about 10 years ago but nothing since then.
I do sometimes go to the range with friends and relatives when I’m in the US, but I’m not really that into it.
You?I had a dream............................

Guns are a bad idea, if you front a bunch of lo-life that couldn't give a shit, you are stuffed, in fact they may even over power you and use it on you..
If you were to shoot someone I reckon your world will come tumbling down to daily fish head soup..
A Dutch Clint Eastwood? ?

isn't polite to put elderly woman photo which you don't know and let people having a laf on it. Its ok to having fun , but this is not nice... or this is what you been taught at your home country
A thread can sometimes become a bit dry. The one poster with his message that he's more into older ladies was in no way to make fun of older people. Is it not possible just to smile and go over to the next part of life? I thought it's funny, others might think different, but it was not to make fun out of anybody.
I'm sorry if I somehow offended you, it wasn't my intention. My apologies.

I would not be so quick to make that judgement. I have been surprised at the professional women who have shown interest in me. Many have been definitely middle class and not at all desperate. Usually have at least one child. Some have had their own businesses. I will agree that it's much easier to cut a deal with a destitute girl. I generally shoot for older, attractive women, who have low-paying jobs. They DO get accustomed to having more options very quickly, though.
It's your lucky day! No chance to meet her without this forum, methinks. Please message me for her details. Her smile is honest.

Old adage "never a borrower or a lender be"
Of more help is that:
1 it'll cost you more than 3,000 to get it back "legally"....TIT
2 you've now found out that your "friend" is a <deleted>! IMO 3,000 Baht is quite cheap to get rid of him - could have cost you much more!
Just being pragmatic.
OP should look at some "good examples" where foreigners have built houses, bought cars, motorbikes, buffaloes, paid for the sick mom's heart operation(s) and her and her brother's fake boobs. Then it might be way easier to understand that the money is definitely gone.

Standard question from check-in staff. You are being rather disingenuous with your reply.
You are compounding your idiocy with a reply lile that.
Good luck in your quest as you are obviously to tight-fisted to use a courier.
Even "have you packed your bags by yourself"? would be the same question and is often asked. I don't think that DHL or similar is that expensive.

Tell "your friend" that you'll go to the Immigration and get him blacklisted. Tell him that you know Sgt. Major Somchai personally.
That will only work if he doesn't read your thread.

Thailand is a free country ruled by the army after all!
Arrai Waa?
How can a country be free if some crooks have taken it over four years ago and beat anybody who'd like to demonstrate against them with paragraph 44 that gives them power over all? How can you call that free? It would be free without them.

Pay her 7,000 a month to be your maid/cook and bring home a new partner to fulfil her negated portion of the contract. That should be interesting.
It's really time for a service where unsatisfied customers can go back to the beerbar's Mama San, give her back and receive a newer and cooler model.

Thai Visa denied after visa run to cambodia at the same day

Be aware that some corrupt Cambodian Immigration officers at Chom Sa Ngam are trying to make some extra money by telling you that a stamp in your PP was missing, or similar. Just don't pay the 200 or 400 baht they are asking for.
