Very good information pall.
Actually it will be transferred to a nominated UK bank account on the Friday of every 4th working week i.e the next 4th working week for April will be week 16 so the pension will be paid into a UK bank account on 20th April.
The next payment in May will be the Friday of week 20 or 18th of May and so on.
In November you will get 2 payments as week 44 is 2nd November and week 48 is 30th November and week 52 is 28 December but that may be paid earlier due to CHristmas.
If you pension is paid direct to a Thai bank it is normally in on the Tuesday following but sometimes the Monday, unless there is a Thai bank holiday.

So where do you think the money is Gona come from to save it up .out of the sky .Coss not one government yet has got the balls to give people a decent pension .. the people in the UK are made to work till they drop before retiring .and the people won't see any pension money cos they will be dead.so there it's all shit man
They had 40+ years to prepare for retirement. Surely most people would have other financial plans rather than rely on a known low state pension.

You only have to go to bangkok to see a jungle of sky scrapers manThe cycling and hiking here are excellent, very hard to get bored when you can just go out on the mountains and in the jungle everyday.

Get ready for the chopping block pall.I am living with my GF 5 years with some problems more or less.
Last year she broke my heart in a bad way but still my love for her was bigger as my ego.
After this i thought all went for the better even when i always thought what is comming next,
Well the next has come up because she complain more and more i no have money and i give
her small money more now and then.
now i know she had money and just asking to squeeze me out i quess
Now she asked me if she can get my house (7-8 m) when i die.
I was speachless and thought how you can ask this, i take care you more than good.
Now I wonder she is with me for me or is she with me because of my house?
I never will know the answer as long i am with her as it is an vicious circle.
now i feel bad and unhappy about this but she claimes it is normal to ask for a thai lady.

Banks will change them up to a certain length of time past that date .Hi,
I know this isn't probably the correct forum for this query but I couldn't think of a better one. Apologies in advance.
I have £410 in old ten pounds notes which I need to spend before they are not legal tender anymore in March 2018.
I am not planning to travel to the UK in the coming days, so if there is anyone who is going and want to exchange them for me, either in baht at the Superrich rate or in other pound notes I would be grateful.
These notes can be spent until March with no issues.
Long shot, I know.
Thanks,
straydog

Remember Paul and Tiger use 50 quid notes for toilet paper the normal bloke or woman has got nothing
I would still call that a 34% loss.... Depending on your net worth it may or may not be overkill.....
Ask Paul McCartney or Tiger woods how much a divorce costs.... [emoji2]

That's because you are in Thailand and nachualy the home team is gonna win.Has anyone else noticed that if a farang is fighting a Thai in a Muay Thai bout the farang must knock out his opponent if he is going to have any chance of winning the bout. I have seen crazy one sided fights where the farang absolutely dominates his opponent, but if his opponent is a Thai and he is still standing at the end of the fight, the Thai will win every time.
Just something I have observed after watching may Muay Thai fights. What do you think?

On my ticket for 31 oct 2017 from newcastle to Dubai. Then Bangkok. It says only 20 kg max on baggage .so im going to check it out with a call to Emirates.thanks anywayMany of us flying down-the-back in Economy find we're rather like pack-mules, when flying to/from Thailand, so it might be worth starting a thread about which airlines offer more than just the basic 20 kgs. Who knows, if it proves to be useful, the thread might even get pinned !
This might be common-knowledge, to more-experienced flyers, but could be useful to newbies or to keep up-to-date on alternatives.
To kick it off, here are my own recent experiences, please feel free to add other airlines' deals :-
Domestic
===========
Beacuse those of us who do connect on, to CNX or HKT or wherever, need to be able to move extra-weight for the last 'hop' too.
IME Thai Airways allow up-to 30 kgs, on domestic-flights, if you're connecting to/from an international-flight in Bangkok. It doesn't seem to matter, whether the onward/inbound-flight is with TG or another Star-Alliance carrier or someone else.
And Bangkok Airways have a free frequent-flyer card which, from your first flight, allows an extra 10 kgs of hold-luggage, so effectively the same service as TG.
International
==========
Flying long-haul, a few airlines now seem to be 'breaking ranks' on the standard 20-kg economy-ticket allowance, perhaps to offer a competitive-advantage, or perhaps in recognition that we often travel over-the-limit ?
Thai Airways's frequent-flyer programme allows Silver-cards 10 kgs extra, and 20 kgs for Gold-card members on all flights.
I've flown Jet Airways (of India) three times, over the past year, and they allow 28 kgs on normal economy-tickets for trips starting in BKK, higher-levels of their Jet-Privilege card also allow an extra 10 kgs (Silver) or 15 kgs (Gold) or 20 kgs (Platinum).
I've also flown EgyptAir about a year ago, and they offer two bags, but they can be up-to 23 kgs each, so you can theoretically move up-to 46 kgs by balanced packing. This applies to all their international-flights, not just to North-America.
Air India's website says 35 kgs is standard for London-S.E.Asia, but I'm not sure what would be allowed for tickets starting from BKK ?
In the Gulf, Emirates allow a stunning 30 kgs of hold-luggage as standard, Silver & Gold ff-cardholders also gain extra baggage-allowance, not sure how much ?
Etihad allow a basic 23 kgs, with frequent-flyers Etihad-Guest an extra 5 kgs(ordinary members) or 10 kgs (Silver) or 15 kgs (Gold) or 20 kgs (Gold Elite).
Qatar Airways offers a basic 23 kgs, with Priviledge-Club members getting 0 kgs (ordinary) or 10 kgs (Burgundy) or 15 kgs (Silver) or 20 kgs (Gold).
And special-rules have always applied for flights to/from North-America, in the past, but might they now slowly be changing.
Perhaps other posters might care to share their own experience ?

Seatbelts save lives. Its like that in uk people still dont put them on and when you say to yourself were is the cops theres none but leave them off yourself and your captured man.but they will learn one daybugger, how inconvenient, it slowed down traffic, gauranteed no seat belts on. bet he wished he had slowed down, on my trips out with thais i am the only who puts a seat belt on, they thinks its funny,

Very well said .people are still living in the snobby times .buy saying you must do this and that .wear what you want and be happy as thats what I see when over in Thailand and out in the village wear my girlfriend s man love you could walk around with bought on I bet it's that nice and laid back everybody happy and love a bit crack with me as I'm the only English person etc and another thing it's what you make out of life don't forget that I say great your comment pallThai men also walk around not wearing shirts. I don't know what places you lot are living in, but in my village and surrounding areas I often see Thai guys, old and young, skinny and fat, walking about with no top on. Also they nearly all wear flip flops and shorts.. sometimes old dirty clothes (when they have been working). No one cares.
You must be hanging around with some snobby want to be high so Thais if they are sniggering and making comments about guys with no shirt on.
Of course, it depends on the place. For example, these Thai guys in the village would not not walk around the city center, or a shopping mall with no shirt on, or go to a restaurant like that.
But, for normal daytime attire, in the house, garden, farm of on the street, then wearing no top is fine.
I hardly ever wear a top in the house or garden.. too hot. Only went I go out of the property, or someone comes to visit.
Nothing wrong with shorts also, so long as they are clean and in good order, not some 10 year old ripped ones!
Also, nothing wrong with flip sandals either, what do you think Thai people used to wear before the western fashion of shoes and trainers came over here?
Finally, no sweat stains all over my house either, because I am not sweating like a pig as am cool because no shirt!
