  1. I am coming to phuket for a few days in january with some of my co-workers we want to rent a cat for the day, must be a very nice boat, we have a budget of around 30-35k for the day anybody know a good charter company, were staying at the indigo pearl, if that helps with location never been to the south so i have no idea how far apart everything is, thanks in advance guys for any helpful advice,

If you have not found a boat yet, my friend who's computer has crashed asked me forward a few photo's of his very fast Corsair 28 which is available. It is available with or without skipper, depending on experience.

Well I guess that didn't work, so PM me and I will give you his email address. He is getting a new computer later today

  2. I have 3 kittens living in my shed. They are a very cute, black and white. You can have the mother and the kittens from the first batch too if you want.

We are in the Chalong area

  3. Hi. I am looking to buy a used car or pick-up to do my shopping etc, Saw a few in the 200,000 area that might be suitable, but would like to have it checked out by a good mechanic first. If anybody could recommend one it would be much appreciated. If he is in the Chalong area it would help. Thanks

  4. My 12 yr old Thai daughter will finally be coming down from BKK to live with me, and I have narrowed down her news school choices to 2. they are about the same price and distance from my house. does anybody have a recomendation or comment about either Kajonkietsuksa School (not intl.) or Dowroong Wittaya

Take her to the Kajonkietsuksa English or Thai it's the best, not perfect but very safe and good.

    Regards,

    LiveSteam

Thanks for the reply. I wish I could afford the English side

  7. Does anyone know any decent companies in Phuket who can build websites ?

One which doesnt try to baffle me with all the techno science in order to try and charge me extortionate amounts of baht ! :o

I found the best web site designer in Thailand through this forum. You can get him through the web site he did for me at //URL removed// look for web master

  8. IMO I would get a pay as you go AIS card (About 500 baht) and subscribe to one of their GPRS plans and use your data card/laptop.

We are not blessed with 3G here but do have EDGE and Thailand charges by the minute not by the amount of data used.

I am currently using 140 hours at a monthly cost of 350 baht.

Can you help an ignorant person, I have a new laptop sitting in my room while I am in a cafe. What is a GPRS plan, and a data card/laptop. I would really like to sign up for something like this.

    Hope you can help :o

  9. I am having a steel boat built in Phuket at an all Thai speaking boatyard. It looks fine so far, but I would really sleep better if an experienced welder could take a look. I would prefer to use a farang as I don't want them to know I am doubting their work. Any leads will be appreciated.
