Thaibeachlovers, thanks...good stuff. But regular commercial airlines that allow 40 kgs are hard to find...however, the "surface mail" is definitely something worth look into...tks again

Thanks Crossy...I will pass it on....

dear all...a good friend of mine is closing his shop and going back home to EU...all furniture, appliances will remain in Thailand though...so he is just packing personal belongings, books, cloths, a few decoration items etc.
He just checked with major airlines and excess baggage charges are huge. He is bringing back about 9 large suitcases (aprox 25 kgs each). So I told him to check other transportation options...and I offered checking here in the forum in case of you folks have any ideas. Is not big enough shipment for an international mover (if there was one in the country)...so maybe cargo air?..located in Samui...
Anyways, if any of you have any ideas it would be much appreciated...
Cheers!

Quick update. HDPrime just replied to my emails and they say they are up and running so I will give it a try for a one month trial to see how it works. They grant me a one week free trial so I must say I am pleased so far with them.

Does anyone have any news on HD Prime TV? I managed to access their website but haven't received a reply to all my emails. Are they up and running or definitely closed?

Thanks a lot Phuket Man. I checked the website and looks legit. Couldn't find any info on TV Series but I will contact them to find out if its available.

New farang in town so I apologize beforehand for newbies flaws. I read all posts, or all those that I could find. I am moving into new apartment and I am ready now to set up TV. My recap of all posts is:
1- HDPrimeTV - perm/indefinitely closed - no email replies, no updates
2- HDSubsTV - suddenly closed - no email replies, no updates
3- IviewHD - available and reliable?
I also have found after surfing for a while other services like TeaTV, Terrarium, ILikeHDTV and U Play
Any comments on these?
If it helps, not really interested in premier league or sports packages so perhaps Truevision would work just fine for me?
Appreciate any advice and your time.
