I'm also in Pattaya and 6 months ago bought an analogue TV box from Tuk Com X96 Max and it's excellent , i think around 2,000 baht, I don't think there is an app which allows you to watch EPL football, if there was i would have it. I used to have True vision but their movies are <deleted> and i was paying 3,000 a month just for the football so i cancelled it
try loading www.livenettv.bz You get all the sport from all over the world plus movies and tv channels

You need a letter from your local Immigration Office.
In Pattaya they accept Pink registration card

Mind you if you have a plan then imo does not take long to run down 800k.
Also covert some to your home currency and walk out with it.
You will obtain best advice in other forum .
Been asked many times
the only problem is the lousy exchange rate

That is actually a third method. The combination method . The most complicated method.
Some offices don't even accept combo method applications
The vast majority of retirees here use either the 800k bank method OR the 65k baht income method.
I use the combo method and find it quite simple, just show immigration a copy of your pension statement for the year and a copy of your bank statement for the same year add the 2 up and and if they come to 800,000thb bingo your in, easy peasy

One of the first things I read on here was never go to immigration the day after a public holiday, and we've just had 3 of them.
I would go Tuesday or later if you have days left (you could have applied weeks before your 30 day exempt expires)
Or you could go online and do it, saves the hassle!

I was peeved I can't talk to support or someone at Grab. 500baht order showed up and the food was still frozen. "Fresh" oysters my behind!
FROZEN and unedible. And no way to complain or get a refundtry buying fresh food and cooking it yourself, cooking for onesself seems to be a dying art seems you have to travel out into the country to get a decent home cooked meal and this is not only happening in Thailand

I thought that situation had changed and medical certificates were also now required for 5 year renewals. Hard to stay on top of requirements.... Many are saying 2 original CORs if both car and motorcycle licences being renewed, but I believe immigration are just screwing people over on that one.
Pay for one at immigration then make copy TIT

Going along Beach Rd, 2nd Rd and Soi Buakhao this lunchtime and plenty people sat in bars, restaurants and cafes drinking beer. Were they tested first? I doubt it; I saw nothing to suggest testing before entering the premises.
I find it difficult to see how these new rules are going to be enforced. There isn't enough manpower nor the will.
And yet the Pattaya Police have audacity to ask the bar and restaurant owners to cough up extra "tea money" to be allowed to serve alcohol between 2 and 5 pm but then T I T, It's a shame this country doesn't have a proper ombudsman where you can report this shameful conduct to

Sweet Jesus, for months now the Asean Now crybabies and doom & gloom types have be trying their best to spin Pattaya is dead and a ghost town and will never recover are now crying there's too much traffic. You can't make this stuff up.
Get rid of the sidewalk sellers and give the sidewalks back to the people, a case in point is the fruit market cnr soi 19 and bukhaow he takes up the whole sidewalk and then people have to walk on the road around the many bikes that are parked in front of the shop thus creating more problems..
Gutless council to scared to move him either that or the brown envelope is too big

Not if using it to prove income.
Not sure that would even be needed for retirement to prove the 800k/400k baht bank for the required amount of time.
A 2 or 3 month statement may need to be done on he same day to prove the 800k baht in the bank for 2 months.
ubonjoe, at Chonburi immigration in Pattaya they accept my computer printout for 12 month bank statement. I print one out at the end of 6 months then the other 6 months just before I renew

No wouldn't want to get you started with that type of mindset, but think just a little further:
no parent deserves to lose a child even if there aren't all that bright.
But by the same token if that parent had taught their son or daughter to respect the law and get taught how to ride properly we wouldn't be having this debate, and don't forget go and get a bloody licence

If they had these 80,000 or so police just sitting around playing with their <deleted>s, why didn't they unleash them on the public at Xmas and New Year or is this more <deleted> from 'ol fatty and his cronnies

I am trying to figure out the process? I complete a form and assemble documents, I personally take them to a Land Transport Office, without making a prior reservation, and hand in the documents. They will then give me a date to attend for the test. Is this correct?
That appears to be the way they do it now

you will need your own bike for new licence, car licence they just put you through oral tests
