I was fooled by the subject to think that we could find that information here.

We need a list of where to apply. As far as I know, Thailand Longstay Company is one of the places (if not the only one) to apply; however, there is absolutely no information on their website: http://www.thailongstay.co.th

I send them an e-mail yesterday, no reply yet.

Some well planned PR.  . Thai long stay and  Farang short time

  2. Appreciate everyone's feedback and seems consistently inconsistent is flavour of the month.

Im also on a multiple non o that expired on 12 May 2020. Date stamped from immigration was 3rd March and then received a 60 day extension based on marriage which takes me to the 1st May

Im 46, Australian and married for 10 plus years and never had any previous issues at Phuket for non 0, work visas and been a fairly straightforward for the most part and used to shifting requirements based on the day, officer

Based on what Ive read I dont expect too many options but open to ideas as not a fan of paying rent here and overseas as well as helping my son with car payments and settle into Bangers after losing his job in Phuket.

If anyone can suggest a local firm if thats my last option and also someone shared some tips on how to show international bank statements instead of domestic.

    Cheers
  3. Im also one of the lucky ones with a non O ME (1 term left) based on marriage and have already used my 60 day extension. Im not sure whether I can apply for a 1 year extension as I am not on a valid visa and hoping they accept my last 90 day entry without a border run or get a letter from the embassy which Australia seems happy to help based on the situation in a month.

For proof of funds we need to show an international transfer but I get paid via paypal and then into my Kasikorn Bank which shows a domestic transfer.

Does anyone have experience or advice transferring money from Thailand to overseas and then back into Thailand for proof of funds. Transferwise was mentioned a few weeks ago and has the option to transfer via SCB USA Branch into Kasikorn with the required TFF on the bank statment.

    Thanks

  4. For a non multiple entry you can fly to Singapore and back within an afternoon and no questions asked coming back in. Can also extend it by 60 days for 2000B but needed rental documents from landlord with government stamps etc. The tourist police in Phuket immigration had no clue about the 60 day extension so was a few trips back and forth getting the right paperwork. Ah the joys

  5. No need for agents.. The guy didnt even look at me. Looked for the marriage cert, signed copy of wife ID card and threw all property documentation back at me. Make sure you have it as you never know but were super relaxed  and well worth the travel from Phuket as malaysia getting tougher every time.

  6. I just arrived back from savvannakhet and despite having multiple red stamps and an overstay by 7 days I had no issue getting a Non O with the paperwork mentioned above. The embassy doesnt except Kip so make sure you have 5k in Baht and haggle with the tuks tuks outside the embassy as they will rip you off left and right..

And if you do any long bus trips do not book a sleeper unless you like spooning with some  random local as the width is shoulder to shoulder and not designed for anyone over 5'9. Didnt get a wink of sleep.
