Pink is good for ID at hotel, or bank. Yellow is great for opening utility and bank account ts, as well as proof of address. That is my e,perience in CM...and I don't ha e a WP. Yellow was good at the tax office, too. It carries some weight for sure.

My extension interview took seven minutes...

The bank letters have to be signed and stamped by the bank to be accepted by (Phuket) immigration.
Of course, so tell them to stamp the copies of the book, while they are at it.

I think it is a good idea to have the bank stamp your copies of your bankbook. Notice, your bankbook pages are most likely already stamped. My bank can't put a fresh date entry in the fixed book, without adding one for 50,000.. which you could take out the next day..but never been a problem for me...but FDs maturing during seasoning can cause much hassle..and I have warned, and people didn't listen.

Follow up..got hard copy report back in one day, along with tracking indicating the same from thaipost. The outgoing never was updated and the online report is still pending..never cancelled it. So it may be that you still can't do online 90s in CM.

The best this g I have found is CIMB....with a total of one million, you get an ATM card you can use at any Thai bank, free, and without inter province fees..chip protected visa logo, first year free, then 100 per year..six digit pin...keep a small amount in it..and buy fixed deposits..I am currently getting 1.7% on a one year...might be slightly less, now. Letter to Immigration is 100 and takes about an hour. They have a large presence in ASEAN, so there would be advantages in Malaysia,Cambo, Into.

There are agents in the US, but they are very expensive. There are travel medical specialists that will do the form for 50-60 USD. A simple letter from my local police department was enough four years ago, now I would go to my State Police and get a notarized report for 20 USD. Varies by State. Would you be dealing with DC or LA?

I have seen mail ins range between 4 and 18 days. BTW, the return hit the PO today, so I should have it tomorrow...online is still pending. Once I did a very quick online after sending it, and got a next day approval, then never got anything back in the mail, but that was fine.

My last EMS went across town in Chiang Mai via Lamphun and Bangkok, but easier to track. It got there in one day, they just didn't do the scan, and it is annoying that they sit on them in CM.

An unusual situation. 16 days before my 90 was due; I mailed in the report registered mail. Tracking only shows it accepted at the PO. It was actually travelling within the same postal code. Three days later, still nothing. I did an online attempt, and it went pending, where five days later it is still pending. Yesterday, I called the CM office and she says she did get my report, all good and will send later this week. I didn't tell her I had an online pending, and would just as soon get the online slip. I called the help line at online reports and she said it takes a week now. Any suggestions? Looks easy enough
to cancel the online request. This is my first report on this departure card, but I got a one year extension two months ago. Their system shows my successful online reports from 2016, but I quit using it last year. Anything to avoid going to Promenade. I have another week. Thanks.

My last one only liked it during a heatwave, but otherwise hated it. I do like the white noise of the hatari wall fan.

Low quality cotton fabric is why I give them all a miss. I buy wrinkle free Pima cotton from all bean in tall sizes and pick up in the us to avoid tax ripoffs. Gotten 8 years out if them...big divi on no iron, too. Oh, BTW, the solid color on the striped shirt went out of style about 20 years ago..maybe inform the Nepalese guys.
