Your interpretation is correct although, as already stated, you may have to prove it is savings/income from pre 1/01/24

I'd suggest you take a second read: he was indeed saying that my original proposition was wrong.

That's very clear - going forward. But, are you saying that they have authority to tax everything earned earlier than 2023? Income earned 2019? That's not my interpretation at all.  My understand it relates to income earned 2024 and onwards (offshore or onshore).

I caught an UTI and recieved antibiotics for it, all settled. They also have me this bag of 5 pills for 3 days for "pain". 

Any idea what it might be? She scooped them up from a big jar, but the name escaped me. Anti inflammatory?

I'm able to meet these requirements i.e. I had a different set of income streams in 2023 which I want to transfer somewhere mid 2025 i.e. following year (or years) post earning. However, all these income streams gets pooled into my account back home. If Thai RD want's me to proof that what was sent, I earned years prior - do we know in what type of form and structure they want to see it? For example, if I'm here (Thailand) and they would require stamped bank docs (or similar) - it would be difficult for me to produce on the spot.

According to this (and other sources) https://www.car250.com/2024-th-toyota-prius-3.html it looks like the Toyota Prius (5th Gen) not only is coming back to Thailand, but will start to be locally produced as well. 

I'm really interested in this model and if it's priced similarly to a Honda Civic (Hybrid) - I'll try to buy one later this year.

Is there any website/resource you're familiar with where I can find which models are produced in Thailand? 

For example, almost the entire Honda range have final assembly here - but not the Civic Type R as it's manufactured only in Japan. 

 

Anyone knows what time the "reservation tent" closes to book the actual appointment for renewal? Would you think I can come 1-2pm and make the first reservation?

I understand that the DLT close 3.30pm, and that most renewals(or new Dals) are done either morning or afternoon hours. No issues with that.

Friends, we went with the Toyota Yaris. It met the low- to mid spec requirements we had; good enough for short city-driving; and lastly we figured it was a brand that was easy to sell (or repair).

You should assume I know the limit of my own card so no, that shouldn't be the first question I ask myself.

No need to lecture mate, I know some stores adds a charge fee even though it's explicitly against the T&C of both Mastercard and Visa. Actually, this was the very point of this thread to ask if official Honda dealers 1) accept MA/Visa 2) adds "a charge"

As most of you already understood, when asking about accepting Mastercard I was also meaning without any service charge. I guess it's a no go then?

Another Q. Any circumstances where they extend finance for us foreigners? I'm on the Elite visa but I don't hold any work permit or local employment.

I'll make sure taking proper tests before taking on any broad antibiotics treatment. As mentioned by a helpful user earlier a prostate infection or inflammation of the prostate might be hard to diagnose with urine culture/swabs; what test should I push for there? Or should I assume the MD has it in his playbook already? 🙂

2) If I'm given a set of medicine, can I opt-out at buying these in their pharmacy or is it a combined setup only?

The answer to my question is probably "No" but I figured it's worth a shot to ask you guys anyways: would you know if a official Honda (car) dealer would accept Mastercard/Visa as payment? Foreign card.

This is actually very helpful and encouraging. Considering all the warnings I've seen about BPH, I'd figured a UTI/STI exam would be a +10-20k stunt and simply not worth it. 

Did you come in on "a emergency" or was it a booked appointment? 

 

On this subject,

I believe I've caught an UTI or STI because I have an almost constant urge to pee (and some lower abdominal pain). 

I wouldn't rule out Bangkok Pattaya Hospital if its anything severe, but if all I need is some antibiotics (or similar) - I'd be delighted if I could make the aforementioned tests at a smaller clinic or more affordable hospital.

I found the website https://gecc.dlt.go.th/ and according to this, Bang Lamung ("Pattaya") office is not able to reserve online - is that everyone's experience as well? I haven't tried the mobile app yet (if that would be any different). 

I'm up for renewal in March. Do I remember this order of things correctly: 

1st. visit your local DLT to get an appointment (no need for documents at this time)

2nd. visit bring Medical Cert, Residence Cert, Passport copies (all pages) and do a couple of tests. 

Is this still valid? I don't want to go all the way over there and have missed something for the first step, so I'm happy for any help here.
