And you paid an exorbitant fee for something you could have done the legal route for only 3,900 baht.

I paid 3800bht exactly. Which was to the immigration officer.1900 for the conversion of TV to non o and 1900 for the extension didn't bother with reentry permit All above board many people I know got 15months on the first extension. So please get your facts straight.

He already filed a TM28 and TM30, no problems.

What they didn't like was the fact his Extension was dated one day after the Non Imm was issued.

That was a dead give away it was obtained through corrupt methods.

The correct procedure and you don't need to use corrupt agents,

You must have at least 15 days permission to stay from your Visa exempt or TV. Apply for a change of Visa status, or a Visa. (Non Imm O)

14 days later return to obtain the Non Imm O. (90 days)

Within the last 30 days of that 90 days apply for the extension.

For the conversion to a Non Imm O funds must be shown to have come from abroad.

By the time the extension comes around, funds have been seasoned in a Thai bank for the required 2 months.

.first time I got extension I did it in jontiem got the non o the same day as the extension 15months on first one normal most get non o and ext on same day

Yes, another referendum but one in which the full terms of Brexit are fully understood. Seems fair to me, although I'd prefer parliament to show some balls and ignore what was, after all, an advisory referendum.

No not at all the vote was won we are finaly leaving the EU thank God . Love the fact it's all advisory now sad bad lossers

The only justification for a second referendum would be because with the first we didn't know the consequences of it and now we do.  The consequences for both sides of the argument. However we don't need a new referendum because the government have agreed that we will have a meaningful vote once the negotiations are done.  At that time we can reject or accept the wonderful deal that the government have made.

Rubish hey lets have another WW2. As we didn't know of the consequences at the beginning.

A slim majority that could be overturned in another referendum. Once the disastrous consequences of leaving the Single Market and Customs Union are fully understood, another vote is inevitable.

And then what another referendum to over turn the second one.really wish people would accept the fact it was a leave vote get over it and embrace the new better begining

I really like my bank, Bangkok Bank but when my visa card expires in a few years I will be closing my account and transferring to another bank as they are getting into bed with union pay and I refuse point blank to use that card as it is not accepted by most western businesses, it is also not accepted at many thai businesses. Hopefully they will come to their senses before hand and continue on with visa otherwise they are going to lose a lot of their customers, especially all us farangs that need to work with overseas payments

You can still get visa cards from them one only needs to ask.

But you can not say where second street is. The Royal Cliff obviously a complete xxxx hole as well? You must have very high standards. OK I confess, I have never been to Na Jomtien or many other parts, not sure about Mabpachan. Gxd it hurts to be proven wrong.

Extremely high standards thatsvwhy I never go back to the sewer that is Pattaya.

Hint use Google maps put in second street pattya educate yoursef

Yes I have heard of google maps, I have also heard of Second Road and Soi 2 but never second street.

To be so certain that Pattaya is a "complete" xxxx hole, you must have studied every inch from Naklua to Na Jomtien and from Beach Road to the farthest Dark Side. Not many know it as well as you do.

Yes you are correct I have hence I know where second  street is. Don't get all defensive there now as someone knows somewhere better than you. I just love it when someone tries to score a goal only to see its an own goal. But never mind rott very apt

  10. Very much the same all over the world. Catholic priest paedophiles hidding behind a so called religion.

Families do come, Russian, Indian, Chinese and others.

There are plenty of decent hotels.

Why only the "fat" beer swillers?

    Where is second street?

Lots of buildings between Soi 6 to 9. You obviously have no problems with Soi 10 up to Walking Street, this will offend JSixpack who will want to know why you disagree with him about Soi Yobbo (his description).

Leave the bar ladies alone, in the main if treated correctly they do no harm.

Hundreds of thousands of people come back year after year and there are more every year.

No need to flush anything away, if you do not like it just stay away, plenty of other places would suit you better.

Oh get you boy the old well stay away ploy. News flash I do. It's a complete <deleted> hole.

Never heard of Google maps by the way

    Not what I said!

I said that "those" who make 9,000 or 10,000 baht...

There are a few of them, such as the poo yai baan (village chief) or obotos (district representatives), for example.

In other words, as soon as some guy manages to escape the poverty status (living on 3,000 to 4,000 a month), the first thing he does is to take a credit for a car.

The result is that he immediately goes back to his poverty status, yet with a car...and a credit!

I don't know anyone in my village, and around, who lives on more than 5,000 baht a month (outside credit payments)...and my wife runs the village shop, so I know firsthand how much they spend and on what.

Most of them never go to the city, because they can't afford it...they can't shop at a 7/11 because it's too expensive, which is why there are none outside the city...

Isnt thst what low earning  people all over the world do? Take out loans and go deeper into debt. So the so called rich get richer whilst they keep the lower class down. Viva the revolution

    Thanks for that, sport.

It was the first and only time I stopped in this particular  bar.      I had one Leo  ( I had a bunch earlier)  bought a LD for the barmaid  with whom I played and lost a game of pool.     I finished it off by asking for  the check bin and paid for the Leo and LD  and gave the Barkeep 40 THb and my one time game partner 100 THB  for her   brief  company.

I had a nice time there.    I will go back sometime.

Again, thanks for your observation.      I won't call you  pathetic but it's my inclination.

Call away if your that worried about someone saying you hang out in some classy joints. Must have hit a nerve eh. Just dont marry her sport!
