SB does give you a proper size cup of coffee, about 3X the size of most vendors, thus priced accordingly.
SB coffee is rubbish, the prices are rubbish as well. I wouldn't drink it if I was paid.

Not quite correct Sid..... Professionals are playing far more than 3x per week... they are playing a lot while they are training.
I was referring specifically to matches. Of course they are training nearly every day at the higher levels, but not 3 matches per week. For sure, recovery from any physical activity as you age is much more difficult.

Age matters significantly..... I can't play a full 90 mins of full on football anymore 3x per week anymore... I break a lot more easily than I used to and am having to significantly change my outgoing attitude towards physical sports.... (two operations from sporting Injures in the past 12 months !!!).
Even professionals do not play 3 times a week.
Furthermore, you can be injured by dirty butchers playing football at anytime. eg. I had my leg broken purposely by an aforementioned butcher because I scored a goal and it was a big final. Some injuries you don't recover from, you're just functional but not the same. -

Marine 1 and Marine 2 used to be good fun. I also had good fun at the old Insomnia that was not in Walking st, it was up the stairs at the back of Walking St. Anyway, I suppose that's it if Marine isn't coming back or has been taken over by others, they used to play some good tracks, especially Marine 2, and I loved the space/roominess at Marine 2.
There's no way I am paying 340 for a beer or 490 for a mixer, I'm not cheap Charlie, I just use common sense.- 1

Well, my post asking questions mentioned a certain visa run company and it got censored (meaning deleted) by the Mods together with a warning email to "Share information but NO NAMES"
This forum has become a pretty sad state, you can't mention any company names unless the company in question is paying to be promoted on this forum.
I asked about a specific travel company and office that appears to have closed. I was wondering about their whereabouts and if they still existed, as they provided excellent service for visa runs to Cambodia, and I had used them several times in the past, they used to be close to the beach entry in Soi Post Office, the post was deleted asserting it was "off topic".

No, that does not alter the fact that the Thai bank that you referenced is not, factually, an "international bank". That a bank is a member of the SWIFT organisation does not make it an international bank.
The ........ bank is, factually, a domestic state Thai bank through which it's customers are able, via SWIFT, to send and receive international transfers, it is not, factually, an "international bank". I hope that settles the matter for you, factually.
I didn't assert anywhere that because they're a member of SWIFT that it "makes it an international bank". However, since you want to debate whether they are or they are not an international bank and you've been rude about it, any person with an iota of common sense would ask themselves these basic questions.
Does this bank have capacity to receive inward remittances from overseas banks? Yes
Does this bank have capacity to send outward remittances in foreign currency? Yes.
Do they allow foreigners to establish a bank account or facilities with them? Yes.
Do they trade in global markets? Yes
Do they offer an international guarantee? Yes
Do they trade in foreign currencies? Yes
Do they offer international L/C's? Yes
Yet here you are arguing whether they are an international bank or not. You are obviously clueless on what a bank is, what their operations are, what their compliance rules are etc. I doubt you have worked in the financial industry, hence your complete ignorance on the subject. I really love it when people like you try and assert their knowledge on something they know nothing about, then they use emojis as some sort of slur as you have done to show that you know nothing on the subject.
One would also wonder why Krung Thai Bank have offices in Singapore, Mumbai, China, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Cayman Islands, since according to you they are "not factually an international bank". I suggest you look into how banks can be sanctioned when they are operating in foreign countries when they don't comply with laws in regard to money laundering, KYC, etc Better not though, since you're clueless about SOP in banking.
Last but not least, according to you "they're not an international bank", one would wonder why they offer the following products, international trade financing services. What would be their purpose of offering international trade finance, since according to you "they're not an international bank".

That's a state owned Thai bank, what makes you think that it's an "international bank"?!
What makes me know for a fact, not "think" that they are an "international bank" is that I sent money directly there via SWIFT, which is via an MT103 which is an authenticated payment message. So factually yes, they are an international bank with which I've factually received money from one country into another country being Thailand on many occasions. They can also send monies via outward remittance in over 150 currencies. I hope that settles the matter for you.
I find it ironic that you used a laughing face when I posted about this.- 1

It is bigoted and discriminatory to assert that a man or a woman should not be driving based on their age. No one knows their state of health and ability to drive. If they still have decent vision and can depress the brake properly they should not be banned just because they're in a certain age bracket.

Was wondering if there are international banks in Thailand that serve retail customers ? I am so extremely fed up with the low quality untrustworthy banks here. In my 15 yrs i have had about 5 or 6 different ones and they all suck in their own way
Just wondering if KTB fall into your above grouping, because I've never had any issues with them so far.

Indonesia is NOT a "Muslim country" at all. Ever heard of Pancasila?
Indonesia is the most populous Muslim country on the face of earth. And you will find that Christians have been attacked, churches targeted, churches bombed etc. These are facts. Constitutionally it may not be an Islamic Republic, but you will rarely find a non Muslim being President of Indonesia.
You will also find that most Indonesians vote based on the religious affiliation of politicians. Megawati is an exception, although she had a famous Father. -
Have yourself some watermelon juice. I found this to be most helpful when hydrating along with celery juice as it is full of natural minerals.
A University of Naples study found that plant chemicals lutein and zeaxanthin - found in fruit such as watermelon and papaya - help hydrate twice as much as water.- 1

The World Cup is on and they offer no flexibility or don't extend hours, it's plain stupidity. It benefits these businesses who did it so tough through the Covid authoritarian lockdowns. Instead, they took them to the station for charges. Totally ridiculous and clueless.

This is not a stereotypical comment, as I've heard it in multiple Asian countries. I am not asserting all Asians assert this, but many I have heard do. "You farang, you rich", "you bule, you rich", "you foreigner, you rich".
The other thing is that you just can't leave properties unattended irrespective of where you live in the world. If you've got reliable trustworthy neighbours who you have good relationships with then that is another thing, and even then the criminals can try and get in through the roof if it's tiled. There's no way I could leave a property unattended for 5 months and think that I am going to come back to it without anything being disturbed/stolen in the world we live in, but I suppose it depends on the relevant country and what sort of area the house is situated in to some degree.- 1

I am quite intrigued. How does anyone know what happened prior to the Ranger coming into the picture that shows the driver veering onto the other side of the road and killing people. Do tell.

People everywhere have a right to express their opinions and wishes about the upcoming American elections. Using your individual purchasing power to express your opinions is not election meddling. Trump supporters would be perfectly within their rights to increase their purchase of American goods and services if they so choose.
"Just listen to yourself....?" All I did was ask a question. Sorry if that threatens you. Last time I checked that was still legal in America.
What an utter farce of a post. Are you really going to assert that "opinion polls" are an indication of anything? Just for the record 'Hillary was going to win the last election'-'opinion polls' said so..... Yet here you are talking about a "strong level of dissatisfaction with Trump around the globe". Which countries exactly? Please post those 'polls'.
Trump is not a career politician who swings to the left and is not being dictated to by the UN and other left wing elite interests who want globalism. Again, your post is a farce full of delusion, you've obviously been watching too much of CNN, CBS, NBC et al.- 1

Yes, even if the Aussie was being aggressive , the American and his four friends could have easily intervened, non violently .
If the Aussie was assaulting , just hold him down and call the Police
I see, go into any bar in Pattaya and let the following unfold. 2 drunks are there, one is holding a girl by the neck, the other party says hey cut that out, the person holding the girl by the neck doesn't say we are only joking around, but rather responds with a list of expletives and tells the other party to mind their own business and to eff off. See how that works out in any bar. The problem with this incident is we don't know what the interaction was between the two of them, yet many here profess to know what happened, and even by watching the CCTV you're not going to get the full context. Most are asserting there are no mitigating circumstances, so you all must know how the conversation went between the two and whether or not the deceased was aggressive in the first instance. I'd like to know how you have this so very relevant information of the circumstances.

The best way to find out is to go in there and touch up one of the girls.
Are you game?
It was not the question I asked, and furthermore I do not act like some other scum around the place who think it is their 'right' to touch women they don't know.
You said there 'bouncers' there, and you are plainly incorrect. -

That has nothing to do with this case or the alleged 15 headstomps when the dead guy was already unconscious....
That's literally never happened in a sanctioned mma fight either
Don't blame mma as a sport for a violent drunk who killed someone in less than 20 seconds
Most professional boxers could kill a civilian just as quickly if they were in a violent rage and didn't hold back
Imagine the head trauma prime Mike tyson could inflict in 20 seconds without the gloves and the ref....
You seem to be having a comprehension problem. Show me where I said MMA was to blame. I said people watch it, it is very violent, it allows punches to be made when an opponent is on the ground.
So you know that he was already "unconscious", how do you know this? Furthermore, how do you know whether or not it was not the first/second punch that caused death, or whether the deceased's head struck the ground causing a broken skull and a haemhorrage, are you a forensic pathologist as well? How do you know the deceased did not act aggressively toward Polanco? You seem to 'know' a lot.
I am not disputing whether a boxer could kill someone or not. The point is boxing doesn't allow an opponent to be struck with fists whilst on the ground. Again, for your edification, bar fights or street fights are rarely fair. -

Head stomps and all kicks to a downed opponent are illegal in mma
Try to at least pretend you have a clue....
The point was that punching whilst the opponent is on the ground is allowed, being on the ground being the comparison. I have every clue, you just misunderstood the point I was making. Let me know when you see a fair fight in a bar or in the street though.

There *IS* cctv footage of the altercation
Police chief has said it will NOT be released to the media but they will obviously use it in the case...
Wouldn't like to be The yank in this one...
There is no mitigating factors in killing a man in 20 seconds that would make it OK and especially not when the girl is saying that she was only messing around with the Australian and not actually being choked
If the deceased told the American to get effed after he had asked him to stop 'choking' her then there are mitigating circumstances because he didn't know it was "messing around", did he.
I am on neither side, because I don't know and may never know what the full facts are. -

Really, take a comprehension lesson. The point I was making was that people are influenced by what they see on TV. I know what is allowed in MMA.

Being pissed up on alcohol doesn't mitigate anything.
I see, go into any bar in Pattaya, grab a girl around the throat. One person(drunk) says to another person(drunk), hey stop that, other person replies <deleted> off, get <deleted>. Fight ensues, no mitigating circumstances, correct? All are cognisant of what they're doing, right ok.
In fact go anywhere in the world where this type of thing happens regularly. I'm wondering, do you know what the cause of death is yet? Is it when the deceased's head allegedly hit the ground, and potentially caused a cerebral haemorrhage, or was it from the alleged kicks after he floored him. I am glad you know, because I don't.
