You have to remebmber to think like the Thai family. She won't find peace... his ghost will haunt her and the family...or so they believe. He really got the last bit of revenge on her and the family. I had my license renewed last year and it was required. Chiang Mai required it in July of 2017.

1. Ask before you get in meter or set rate.
2. If they play games and don't set the meter, get out.
3. Always take a photo of the ID and cab number to protect yourself. First lesson learned in Asia.
4. Most drivers are hustling just trying to make a living. I personally was saved from a certain beating and being robbed by a cabbie who stopped a man who had slipped something into my cola at the Muay Thai fight and then followed me out and was attempting to push me down an alley. The driver jumped out of his cab, fought the man off and got me back to my hotel safely. He wouldn't take anything for helping me. He was an older man and he apologized for what his countryman tried to do. Each driver is responsible for their own actions and so are we. Walk carefully or take the bus if you don't like the taxi experience.

Cleaning up Geko shit is offensive. Keeping it out of your of three small children's hands and mouths is too much trouble!! We are constantly sweeping the floors, wiping the tables and couches, purifying every surface the kids may touch just so we don't turn around one day and see one of the twins munching on some Geko turds. I say, "Kill 'em, kill'em all!!!"
