I would be suspicious of the accuracy of the results at Boots.

A fair and valid comment that is correct regardless of where the test is done, whenever I visit a hospital mine is elevated

Personally best way machine at home, if high lie down for half an hour and retest, you will generally be happily surprised

Do not become obsessed with testing if you feel ok maybe do not do

Most machine have memory so history can also be viewed and trend the important thing

  2. I had lunch with my good friend Al, who has both Prostate and Colorectal Cancer, and we were discussing cancer testing, and when I returned home I checked what was on TV,F and found nothing that summarises most of the tests available, so I am posting a summary of what Al told me, in todays technological world most people are not aware of what is available

Al has had a lot of first hand experience, and under gone all of these tests both here and in India with the exception of nuclear

He comments he believes the only and also most uptodate Hospital in Thailand, as regards both treatment for cancer AND equipment to be the Government Hospital Chulalongkorn in Bankok, which currently is building a new facility to house its Nuclear particle scanning facility, to be opened in the next 18 months

Chulalongkorn is also the top  medical teaching hospital in Thailand, and exceedingly well funded, it is said it spends four hundred times what any other university spends on training a single doctor

Always ask for a disc of the scan so as to be able to give a copy to another hospital, they can also be sent over the internet when acquiring second opinion, best way using Google storage and giving a code to allow others to access a file too large to be sent via the internet itself

    <snip>

  3. My good friend Aloo7,( he is doing ok and remains ever optimistic !) has donor cards both at Chulalongkorn in Bangkok and at Srinakarin University hospital in KhonKaen, easy to do present your pink identity card hey presto, I just have KhonKaen

Body goes to assist learning, considered ultimate gesture in Thai faith

Funeral dealt with, no fuss, no cost and helping others sounds good to me, no involvement required from Embassy required so long as you properly married

  4. Well

Please define "proper" can vary from US$5 to thousands

ie Army level in combat, jungle war fare, world cruising, construction site200 plus kms from help, or just walking beach and living in 5star hotel, getting an odd bite or scratch, how about space shuttle !!

Ebay has a few and many cases, suggest you define your needs, then prepare list of what you think might be suitable, at one time I carried very sophisticated first aid kits including many prescription drugs

Generally prepare your own according to risk

  5. South Africa has animal protection beasts maybe give them free visa here

SOUTH AFRICAN LIONS EAT 'POACHER', LEAVING JUST HIS HEAD

PUBLISHED ON TUE, FEB 13, 2018 9:23 AM

South African lions eat 'poacher', leaving just his head

A suspected big cat poacher has been eaten by lions near the Kruger National Park in South Africa, police say.

The animals left little behind, but some body parts were found over the weekend at a game park near Hoedspruit.

"It seems the victim was poaching in the game park when he was attacked and killed by lions," Limpopo police spokesman Moatshe Ngoepe told AFP.

This is interesting.  Do you remember where you downloaded it from?

    No, try google/bing etc

Also add numbers from tax disc at side, gives authenticity

Its not forging as in any case a true one does not exist here, just a picture put on the windscreen

Moo71, thanks for the reply, good idea, I did have a colour printer a few years ago but guess what they got borrowed by other family members and never seen it since. Today I was going out to get a new set of photographs for my frequent trips to Lao and was going to drop into the driving center but my sister in law has not shown up. Will suggest your way to her but pretty sure the printer is long gone or beyond repair.

memory stick and local print shop, took our car to lao a couple of weeks ago, and got priority parking at front of queue due to sticker
