Not sure if it's over the counter but I've been given it from my hospital so it's definitely here.
Great. Thank you very much.
If anyone happens to know if it's available OTC, feel free to respond as well please. -
Is this available in Thailand and do you happen to know if it's available over the counter?
I have Tonic Tensor Tympani Syndrome and the recommended medication Cyclobenzaprine is not available in Thailand and Orphenadrine Citrate here contains too much paracetamol, so asking again about this medication. -
Thank you for all the responses everybody. I realized the paracetamol in it is too ototoxic for me to take it, as it's a muscular condition in the ear (TTTS) All the muscle relaxers I've looked at are ototoxic but I think paracetamol may be worse. I wish cyclobenzaprine were available in Thailand instead. Anyway, thank you.

I think I may have been prescribed this in the past for a different ailment but can't recall. Is this medication available and is it over-the-counter? I live in an area with only small mom and pop pharmacies. Would like to know before I venture into the city to larger ones.

If this is what you're looking for, yes it is available in Thailand.

When consulting Mims you have to distinguish between listing of a generic and whether there are brands of it registered by the Thai FDA. In the case of this drug, there are not.
You must be right. I contacted all of the larger private hospitals and they said they don't have it. It's the only muscle relaxer known to help with Tonic Tensor Tympani Syndrome (pain and tinnitus caused by TTTS). I can't believe they don't have it here when it could help a lot of people suffering. Thank you. ???? -

That's it. Thank you very much. Guess I'll try at the hospital next.

If I go to a large hospital like Chula or Bumrungrad, can they prescribe this medication or is it not available in Thailand? I specifically need this muscle relaxer.

I've heard all kinds of reports of TM30 not working for people online and also 90 day reporting not working for some foreigners online. But some people says it works fine for them. I think most of the time this comes down to browser. Nobody has mentioned browsers from what I've seen. So if you're having problems doing anything on any website, always try a different browser. Some are not coded correctly to display in certain browsers. Example: If Chrome is not working, try Firefox or Internet Explorer.

Moved to the Health forum.
A much more reasonable approach would be to take post-exposure prophylaxis. If you are still within 72 hours of the exposure there is time.
You also do nto need to wait 1-3 months for antibody test, PCR is accurate within 2 weeks.
Go to the Thai red Cross anonymous clinic

thank you. I did go there and they prescribed me teno-em. PCR from Bumrungrad was negative. Much appreciated.

stupid, or confused.
no, there is no law that you gotta have sex instantly every week,
or every month for that matter.
do some other stuff for the time being, and after you have tested,.
then its time to contemplate what partner, if any, you should have.
no sex is better than shitty sex
I don't know where this is coming from as you don't know me. Every week? I've had sex with one person since 2007, the bar girl. This was a last resort type of thing after 11 years of striking out. You don't know me but you're so quick to judge.

It's going like maybe 10mph tops. Google/Youtube "Ghostride the Whip". Hundreds of teens do worse than this with their cars in California every day. Not news worthy.

I know I'm bringing up an old post, but I found this post when I googled "HIV dating Thailand". I found this post in Google results, but I'm already a TV member so I read the thread and logged in to reply. I think you guys who called this person a troll are way out of line. A troll, a real troll, can come up with a much better way to troll than something like this. Now in my case, I was googling "HIV dating Thailand", because I'm also in my 30's and slept with a bar girl the other night and the condom broke and it was a good while before I realized.
I go online and read how high the HIV rate in Thailand is, and then read about "Subtype-E" which studies say is easier for hetero men to catch than the HIV types more common in USA where I'm from. This bar girl refuses to take an HIV test now and refuses to talk to me as I obviously offended her. So I'm already thinking I have it. I know the odds are still in my favor that I don't, but I don't want to wait another 1-3 months for my antibody test results while stressing about whether I have it the entire time and what I will do with my life. So like the op, I also am wondering where to meet HIV positive Thai women in case I do have it. Im already preparing for that so I can stop freaking out somewhat about being lonely my whole life. As for wearing a condom the rest of our lives and telling negative partners we have it, that's ridiculous and embarrassing. I want to find someone who has it if I do have it, because I'm not immoral and I don't want to worry about my condom breaking with a negative person.
So if some of you had answered this op seriously instead of berating him and playing this "I'm smart, I can spot a troll" game, others like me who come from Google results could get the help we're looking for as well, whether this guy is a troll or not. I don't feel this guy was a troll, because everything he said is what I would be asking now and how I'm feeling. Let's say he was a troll, and you guys answered him seriously. This thread would have been only a few posts long, not 6 pages long. He asked where to find people who have HIV as well. You could have said "Try this dating site" and posted a link to an HIV dating site or something real. How would a troll respond to that? He wouldn't. You'd answer his question and he'd have to come up with a better troll after that and a better topic that isn't so straight forward. You guys made it the opposite of straight forward, so if he was a troll, you played into that as well. That would end the trolling right then and there anyways.

I'm going to buy an unlocked Android phone, probably a Samsung. I like the sim card options from the company True for wi-fi and calling. Their monthly packages where you pay 199 baht or whatever it is and get so many GB of internet and so many calls. Can I use True sim cards with any Android phone, or does it have to be a True phone?

Thank you so much everybody. I appreciate all the responses and will definitely do it early!

Hi guys,
I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times on here but I searched and couldn't find any previous posts about it. I'm from USA and my Single Entry Tourist Visa was issued in early December and the visa itself says "Valid until Mar 5" on it. Not a stamp, but the actual visa itself reads that on the sticker and was printed that way. But I didn't actually leave USA and enter Thailand until January 24. When I entered they stamped my passport with "Entered January 24. Admitted until March 24". I think I fully understand this but just want to confirm with others...
The March 5 date is now irrelevant, correct? I'm assuming that was just how long I had to actually enter the country and now that I entered by then, that date doesn't mean anything to me, right? The March 24 is the actual date I have to leave, and if I want to extend this visa another 30 days I have to visit Immigration on March 23 I imagine.
Is this correct?
Thank you
