Please Thaivisa,do not quote another bs announcement by these incompetent govt ministers. We are getting sick and tired with all these rubbish statements that keep comming out day after day.Wait until any any announcement is published in the govt gazette.

Honestly what more could you expect, with an anti farang health minister running the country. They did nothing in the first month. If anyone believes the numbers they have been putting out then do so at your own peril.I predict that after sonkran there will be thousands of corona virus cases in every province.Just Look next time you go to a supermarket or macro and see how many people use the tongs picking up the chicken legs.Absolute breeding place for germs to spread.Thats my thoughts anyway

And what about all those old busses that drive around Bangkok emitting copious amounts of black smoke.Where are all those new busses that were sitting on the wharf waiting for delivery?

Maybee she had a pre existing condition and didn’t bother with travel insurance.

Well the judge could give him 10 years and a fine of 200000 that would go to the victim

Good to see Big Joke showing a bit of compassion,Probably only through media pressure. We know what those towel heads are capable of with the recent murder of the news reporter in the Turkey.Women are nothing in those barbaric Arab countries.Hope the poor girl gets to Aussie and is given refugee status although I fear she will always have to look over her shoulder.

Would really love to meet her,but seriously, are the Thai police that pathetic as to worry about a naked girl when an average of 60 people a day get killed on the roads. They need to get their priorities in order.

Are they for real?Of course there are an abundance of public toilets in that area. What about the hundreds of taxi drivers I have seen over many years in Soi 19 and on the motorways from both airports Pissing on the side of the road.Well when yourve gotta go you gotta go.

Fantastic effort by all the people involved in the rescue. The courage of the boys themselves, and the Thai navy man that perished,R.I.P. While all the international media focused on the cave rescue and wonderfull outcome, but at the other end of the country let’s not forget about the 40 or So Chinese that drowned when the ferry sank, after being warned not to go out to sea.RIP

Sad news indeed.Condolances to his family.Hopefully his family will be taken care of by the govt.Certainly shows what a difficult task is facing the rescuers.

Hopefully the rest of the rescue goes well and everyone gets out safely.
Bet those boys won’t go caving again for a very long time.

Yes well my first time driving in Bk approaching a toll booth not far from the emporium or Chang Wattana and as I got close to the toll booth realised I was in the easy pass lane so put the indicator on and moved over to the correct lane ,no problems, paid the toll, but as soon as I went to move off a policeman indicated me to pull over which I did. Then him tell me you chain lane, you chain lane, anyway he starts showing me all the Thai licences he had and told me I had 7 days to go police station pay fine, but he wouldn’t write out the ticket and unfortunately my dash cam wasn’t working. Then my thai wife starts talking to him and she told me afterwards that she told him we didn’t have time to go to the police station and asked if he would pay the fine for me.He tells me fine 1500 baht. Which I told him was ridiculous but sucker me paid it anyway.Bloody corrup <deleted>

Start with 7/11 stores, they are terrible with plastic bags.Im the same as spidermike007.we take our fabric bags into the supermarket and we do the same by pulling the items out of their plastic bags and putting them into our fabric.ones.Totally confuses the checkout operator.Every vacant lot in our village is covered in plastic bags,I’m trying to educate my Thai wife into using the reusable fabric bags.

I have been with my Thai wife for 13 years.Did the marriage thing 3 yrs ago.She is from Isaan and has never been to school. She can neither read or write thai or English and as a previous member said I have asked her about 911,the Eiffel Tower, the leaning tower of Pisa ,ww1,ww2 etc etc and she has Absolutly no idea what I’m talking about. It can be quite frustrating at times trying to give her instructions about something,or explaining something to her a bit technical.and yes she loves those crappy Thai soapys. She can speak a reasonable amount of English so it’s not all bad.She is very good with money and I have taught her how to budget. Both her parents have passed away so no real family issues. She is highly respected in the village and takes her Buddhist beliefs seriously,Dosnt drink or gamble as many in the village do.Yes we do have the occasional spat mainly over language misinterpretations.Shes not the best housekeeper in the world nor the best cook but never stops working in the garden, and loves growing veges to sell at the market.Mowing the lawns ,pruning the fruit trees etcDespite the language barriers etc I wouldn’t trade her for the world. She is a very caring and honest lady.Im very fortunate to have met her.I hope this is a bit of help to your question

Yesterday I copped a 300 baht fine for having a bit of plastic spouting overhanging by half a meter without a red flag yet every intersection there was always a few galahs going straight through a red light. At every road block here the police station a cop 300 meters either side of the road block with a walkie talkie but they do Absolutly nothing when cars and motorcyclists see the road block and turn around and take off.
