I'm on a non o for marriage, I have 2 kids been married 14 years.
unfortunately, I extended my visa for 60 days just before the borders were closed.
I live in the North East.
I went to immigration this morning and was told I could not extend my stay and had to leave by Saturday.
Fortunately, i was able to do a 1-year marriage extension, so no problem.
be warned if you think there will be soft options to stay beyond this weekend you will be very disappointed.

This will just destroy a whole sector of the struggling hotel sector, all those little places that have huts on the beach in the islands ,that are already being crushed by covid are now dead by stupidity. Not to mention the cheap hotels used by single travellers and back packers around places like Khaosan road.
Can anyone name another country so reliant on the tourist industry that is so out of touch with reality.
