Finally Thailand got rid of the hassle with the departure fee from the airport and now they will introduce a new fee? It's not about the money, but thise kind of stupid fees is a hassle. Put higher tax on the Hotels and the Farangs will get the bill in the end without another stupid fee to pay up front....

I don't give a <deleted> about the criminals.......if I had been the victim, then i would wish that they serve as hard a time as possible and then they might think once more before they make a new crime.....

I can remember in February, when he called me and all other Westernes for dirty........I have cancelled my expected 5 weeks vacation in November and December....I'll hope that many will remember his words and spend as little as possibel there next time they arrive.....You are just a dirty Farang in his eyes and probably in many other thais, but our money is very welcome...

Why on Earth should i pay for one more travel insurance? I already pay for one that covers a the year around with the limitation of 2 months holiday per time, but it's no problem for staying longer. I just have to pay a fee for additional month.....I would  never ever leave Denmark without a health insurance, that would pay for everything in worst case senario....and never help anybody financially who choose to travel without insurance....

Nice to know that tuk-tuk drivers are hit hard. Thise scumbags charge 240B for a very short of a few hundreds meter back in 2016. That was my last visit to Patong Beach. Now i usually travel to Jomtien, but the Beach isn't that good. Everything is cheaper and the fair for ride in a song thearw is 10B for 4 km to Pattaya, which has far more restaurants and nightlife then Phuket...Huahin can be a nice brake for a few days. Just 2 1/2 hours with Ferry from Pattaya....

I haven't been there for years….Tired of the Tuk-Tuk mafia and their prices, while prices are fair in Pattaya and Bangkok...Everything is overpriced i Phuket. No reason to go there ????

People who can afford to travel, but choose not to pay for an insurance took a chance and lost.....Better to give money to somebody,

who can't afford to travel, work hard and now need treatment but can't pay for it......
