That is not correct.
Did you even bother to read the requirements for opening an account at BKK, before you wasted your time.
And the requirements are ?

Can I ask what the dreaded stamp looks like please.
I got a hard time from the IO when I returned last time. She was complaining about me not using proper visa, I had a Tourist Visa, I questioned her on this, no reply. She then made a few other comments and when I asked her again , no comments. I then asked her about tourist visa not being a proper visa. No comment again. I think immigration like to flex their muscles to see how you react.
But to complain that people come to Thailand too many times. What a joke

Still air, higher particulates predicted for today
By The Nation
A trains runs through along a track as bad air pollution continues to affect Bangkok yesterday. // EPA-EFE PHOTO
POLLUTION is expected to get worse in Bangkok today following slight improvements in weather conditions yesterday.
Fewer locations reported fine particle dust beyond safe levels yesterday, while the Meteorological Department issued a warning about a high-pressure area hovering over Laos and the Northeast that will bring temperatures down by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius in greater Bangkok today.
According to the department’s director-general Phuwiang Prakhammin, there will be a slight dip in temperatures from yesterday to Saturday thanks to the high-pressure area. However, once the cooler air mass withdraws, still air will hover over greater Bangkok and it will combine with fog. The level of fine particle dust may peak on Sunday.
Though the air may be less toxic because rain on Tuesday and Wednesday washed away some of the dust.
The Pollution Control Department (PCD), meanwhile, reported that 16 roadside areas and nine general areas (away from main roads) in greater Bangkok still had unsafe levels of particulate matter smaller than 2.5 microns (PM2.5) in the air. The safe limit is 50 micrograms of PM2.5 per cubic metre of air.
In Bangkok, roadside areas on Phaholyothin Road in Chatuchak district, a spot in front of Kasetsart University in Bang Khen district and the area near the Thanon Tok intersection in Bang Kho Laem district each reported an unsafe level of 62 micrograms.
The PCD also reported that the quality of air today will be “moderate” and cited the weather bureau as saying there will be no rain in the capital and its five surrounding provinces.
In the wake of pollution, various agencies have this week implemented dust-reducing measures such as suspending the construction of the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand’s Orange, Yellow and Pink electric rail lines until January 22.
Meanwhile, the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority has been checking vehicles and keeping exhaust-spewing buses off the streets, while traffic police have nearly doubled checkpoints to 20 from the previous 12 to catch and seize polluting four-wheelers.
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has sent workers to clean and hose down risky spots on a daily basis.

Yesterday the Thai authorities said there was nothing to worry about. Doesn't look that way to me. The next step will be to ban vehicles in Bangkok! What a nightmare that would be

I am in total agreement. Air Asia state 7kg and 2 bags maximum ie 7kg for 2 bags but they continually let people on with 3, 4 5 etc.
No point in having rules and not sticking to them for everyone.
Same as people on scooters, bikes etc. You must wear a helmet, my arse and the police just allow it to happen.
My wife also has the attitude to let her son drive the car in the village. He has no license at all and she doesn't seem to be able to take it on board that if her son drives and is in an accident her car is not insured !!

If she hasn’t hit the complete button on the application you can start again or you can change them. It's much better that you do the whole thing any way no matter how good her English. Two many cooks and all that.
That way you just list you as her sponsor. You only need to show that you have enough money to fund the trip and it sounds as if your girlfriend is financially self sufficient any way. I don't think you'll have any issues with this visa at all if you put a good application together. Do you have any flight or hotel bookings where you have flown together? UKVI no longer encourage you to send photos.
I reckon they will have issues. My wife has applied twice and been rejected both times. We used an expert in Visas and they put together the package and submitted. We made sure that we did everything by the book but still got rejected. Even the person that put the package together stated that this was very unfair. The reasons were pathetic. My wife then was 44 years of age but one reason was they didn't think she would go back to Thailand after 6 months. She only wanted to come for a couple of months as stated in her application. And if they had contacted me I would have given personal guarantees that she would have returned. It's as corrupt as everything else that has authority in Thailand

I did my Extension based on work last month, as I've done for the last 13 years, and, as usual, no TM30 required.
Sent from my SM-A500F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
Why not ban them from driving. Watching Thais driving when they are sober is bad enough. They have no manners or respect for other road users.
Maybe a farang would get jailed immediately

What is a TM30 and when do you need it ?

Happy to hear that she is recovering and OK to go home, but of course, if her shyster insurance company hadn't been such a bunch of dogs, the fundraiser would not have been necessary. People dive into pools all day long without drama, so to suggest her doing so was "reckless" is just mean. I hope other tourists take note and put these bandits out of business. I wouldn't insure my goldfish with them after this.
Maybe her insurance never covered her for that. It is vitally important that you read what you are covered for in any insurance at least twice and then abide by it. Insurance companies are not there to help you unless you follow the rules. Same as people that arrive in Thailand hire a scooter etc no experience and no license then they have accidents and wonder why their insurance won't pay out.

The reason they are not making money on internet banking is because there are too many restrictions ie must get permission to set up an international transfer. What a pile of c**p

I play badminton with a group of them here, and they are far more decent on the whole than my English mates. There are losers and cheap charlies from every nation. Thais especially are derogatory in their reporting of any foreigner behaving poorly. I would far rather have a bunch of Indians in town than the same number of Chinese.
I worked in India developing engineers. Really nice people in their own country. But they obviously go through some sort of transformation when they go outside their own. We had them in the UK and were the most pig ignorant people that I have ever met and they had no sense of tidying the flat that we rented them.
I've also seen them preying on girls in Thailand in groups coz they have no "balls" to do the deed on their own. God help pattaya

The only people to blame for this are themselves and their son.
The boy should not have been allowed to ride a motorbike, too young, no license, no insurance, no helmet.
The boy is dead and that is tragic, but his parents are seeing his death as a way to make money..... Sickening.
Totally agree with you. It happens too often here. Charge the parents for involuntarily manslaughter of their son

so visa in one minute but still lined up at "special" counters for 2 hours.
Interesting list of countries it is available to, and only 16 on the website so far on the selection screen though it shows 20 when you look at the html.
Andorran, Bhutanese, Bulgaria, Chinese, Cyprus, Ethiopian, Fijian, Indian, Kazakh,
Latvia, Lithuania, Maldivian, Mauritian, Papua New Guinean, Romania, Sammarinese,
Saudi Arabian, Taiwanese, Ukrainian, UzbekProbably the countries that least people come from to visit Thailand

Yes, it's pretty quiet right now, it has been for about a month - since about the start of the low season.
Can't get that action in Hua Hin for some reason

It's not over and never will be. I got stopped by the police in Hua Hin and bcos I never had my license on me they told me it was a 1000thb fine which was written on the ticket they showed. As I am a believer in doing the right thing I handed over my 1000thb, however no ticket and 500thb change. Now obviously the cop pocketed it and had the cheek to tell me he was in a good mood today. Never mind the others who were passing by, no helmet, no number plate and probably no license whereas I said that I could go and get my license along with my IDP similar to the UK, you have a certain time to produce the documents but Thailand seems to be a busmans holiday for the authorities.

You are pushing your luck with another 'back to back' visa exempt entry. There is no set limit, but immigration will almost certainly stop you at some point. I would get a visa from Laos.

The question should really be: "are Isaan women into sweet nothings with partners they love?".
For the best answer, you're going to have to talk to Thai men. Even if a foreigner was getting a good response from their Thai partner it could be a sweet game.
Sweet game? You reckon
-
No it shouldn't be as they don't stamp them.

How short sighted the police chief is. People only visit Pattaya because things are that sordid. So he needs to investigate the whole of city starting at his own doorstep

You cannot "cure" diabetes but you can certainly get it better controlled with proper diet, for some people this will be sufficient to eliminate the need for medication, but not everyone.
White rice is indeed a great offender as are all types of Thai noodles. Ditto beer which is pure carbs. Pretty much any alcohol except small amounts of dry wine is a bad idea.
Most fruits are pretty high in sugar, berries are an exception and you can get them frozen at Big C, Tesco etc - good with (unsweetened) yogurt.
While it is true that sugar is added in cooking most Thai dishes, for curries and stir fries the amount is pretty small. I think the big issue with Thai food is rice and noodles. If you can minimize those in favor of larger portions of the dishes, will greatly help.
Weight loss if you are at all overweight, will make a big difference.
And regular exercise is very, very important.
People do vary in how sensitive they are to foods and which ones, so get a home monitor if you don't already have one and experiment a bit to see how different foods affect you.
Type 2 diabetes can be cured so that you no longer need to take tablets!!?

Going by the Sun report accordingto a Thai staffer the farang argued with the toyboys but cops say not suspicious.????? lol
Like everything in Thailand. It's all Farang fault!! Never Mind the true facts that if Farang not come here, Thailand would be nothing
