April’s alcohol sales are set to double, except for December
Anyone care to translate ?
My guess: April sales will be double the average monthly sales if you exclude the month of December.- 1

Will they now honor their royal orchid miles for hotel awards?
This method of spending miles was removed when they went into administration. Seems quite dishonest to let people accrue miles then not allow them to spend them.

Nice that this young YouTuber just sat there and didn’t offer to help himself.

From my understanding it’s still cancelled if you change jobs, but can’t find any solid answers on this.

Can anyone clarify what the situation is if you change companies when you’re on the LTR work from thailand visa, but decide to change companies - is this visa cancelled like a normal visa/wp would be?

Doesn’t anyone question how these donations are funded in Pattaya? Monks with their hands out to bar girls in the mornings - what acts took place the night before so those donations could be made ????

Supply and demand, people aren’t using taxis because grab provides a better service with cleaner newer cars.
Increase the cost of taxis and grab becomes even more attractive.

So are loads and loads of "whites". Are the dorms and hostels in Khao San Road at $ 15 per night full of whites or Indians? Are the beer belly singlets and shorts wearing flip flops in Pattaya hopping around on a scooter and living in 28 sq m tiny apartments "white" or Indians?
Just one per apartment though ????

Fair point, but he also was in favor of the coup and these goons running the country in the first place.

Most of the vaccines don’t stop you carrying the virus, they just make you asymptomatic. The local population isn’t vaccinated, so seems there is a huge failure in logic here.

I can only assume it’s hotels in Bangkok that are complaining, as usual, the article is unclear.
The whole ban is totally ridiculous, having spent the weekend in a seaside town, partying, drinking and doing whatever you want. You then return to Bangkok to live the sober life, which is somehow due to high risk of COVID in certain locations.

Just more waffling on about big bikes, baskets and speed limits. How about proper driver education for all drivers and riders?
Most accidents are not 'big bikes', they're mostly small bikes. Quite often with another vehicle involved.

Thailand has the perfect climate for "bike rides" (bicycles) The countryside of Chiang Mai couldn't be more perfect! Its just a shame there are so many lazy people out there! F.J x
No it doesn't France does. Thailand is far too hot and humid. I ride a lot here but one has to take care to be well hydrated before a ride, during it and after or you could be in serious trouble. I am of course talking about performance rides of 60k plus. As for cycling in Bangkok, sorry, just too dangerous.
Thailand (in the north) has the perfect temperature for Cycling. I'll agree Bangkok is too hot at mid day, but this isn't when people commute. So everyone quoting max mid day temperatures is kind of irrelevant.
Hydration really isn't an issue unless you are unfit or overweight - but cycling is the cure to both of these.
Bike culture is certainly growing amongst the Thai's in Bangkok. The popularity of the 'green lane' is proof of that.
I find the replies to this post somewhat amusing, I guess it reflects the demographic posting here - completely agree with canarysun

You can leave any time you want. You don-t have to wait for your current entry to end. Do you have a 90 day visa entry or have you been getting extensions of stay.
You will only get a 15 day entry unless you are from a G7 country.
Whether you can get an exempt entry or not depends upon which crossing you do it at. But you should not have a problem since you have not been doing border runs.
Hi, thanks for the reply. I am from the UK, so I does this mean I will get 30 days?
I initially had a 90 day ED visa that was extended to 1 year. I have a multiple re-entry permit also, so my concern was that if I leave and come back on the 11th (the day of expiry), they will just stamp it as my re-entry and give me 1 day, rather than give me a 15/30 day exemption.

THAI lost my loyalty when they did a bait and switch with their ROP miles. They stopped for hotel awards due to being under administration. They’re now posting record profits and haven’t brought back hotel awards.
They now charge for exit row seats like a low cost airline. Service has gone downhill.
