Well since she works a full time job, I suppose she will be forced to take time off work.

Hey guys,
I need to extend my marriage visa (for the second time, first time was in chiang mai). My wife is very busy with her job. Is it required that she go with me, or can I hand in the paperwork myself.

Thanks so much Joe. They provided us with the certified copies

The Amphoe should of given a certified copy of your marriage certificate and the translation of it when you registered your marriage with the Kor Ror 22 attached to it.
You will need your marriage certificate along with the Kor Ror 22.
Will I have to go to the dutch embassy to get that copy stamped as well?

Hello,
I got married with my thai partner in the Netherlands. We proceeded to register the marriage in Thailand, this is done and the amphur gave us a kor ror 22.
Now I want to get the extension based on Marriage. Will I need another document besides the kor ror 22 regarding the marriage documents.
I'm a bit confused as to if I need a kor 3. and or the original wedding certificate from the netherlands again....(The amphur kept the original translated marriage certificate from the Netherlands, I can request another from the Netherlands).
Thanks!

I went today to get my license and was given an "appointment" for next Monday. Is this normal? I knew it would be a 2 day process for people without a license but I figured I could at least start on the same day. not have to wait 3 working days!

@JackThompson
I will be applying from my home country for a non-O visa so I think this will be no problem. I will be sure to make a report to pay back your kindness.

Thanks guys, looks like that's quite easy then since all the other requirements won't be a problem.

Hello,
I'm 29 and me and my Thai girlfriend finally got married. Now this opens up the option of an extension based on marriage.
Now we want to initially rent a condo together in the city (Chiang Mai) for a year or 2 before buying something. She is registered with her parents in her hometown about 100 km away (still in chiang mai).
Is it possible to apply for the extension with the condo as marital home? Or should we apply from her home at her hometown (and therefore I would have to "move" there on paper). I heard immigration will send someone over to check and I would like to have the option of not lying to them...we are living together always, we just don't own a house yet. I'd just like to hear your opinions on whats easier.
I do apologize if my writing is not clear in any way.

I just arrived in Thailand today from Vietnam. Can confirm no health certificate or self quarantine needed. I'm a Dutch citizen but have only been in Thailand and Vietnam recently.
