Hello all ....I will be extending my marriage visa soon , and was wondering if anything has changed in regards to required documents from the previous years....as we all know it's never fun chasing down documents or getting to immigration and not having what they ask you for ...any help would be most appreciated....

Previously only for extensions retirement. 

At the CW office .....so I can just walk in with documents in hand to get the marriage extension without making an appointment  ? 

I also have to renew my extension based on marriage ......is my understanding correct that you must book an appointment now rather than just walking with the documents ? 

I'm not due to pick up until the 20th, but I would rather not enter that mess if possible, quite happy and safe on this mountain....????

In the event that a person cant be present at immigration to get the results for their visa extension (marriage type O" ........are others permitted to pick up the results on my behalf ? The reason I ask is because the wife and I have been in another province for the past month and now they are talking about a Bangkok lockdown and I'm not sure if I can even get in Bangkok......

Do you know how many days early at cheang wattana? 

How many days  early can you file for the extension based on marriage? 

And my bank book to update that morning too I would think .....and thank you for the speedy reply ????

I have to pick up the results for my extension based on marriage.....would immigration permit my wife to pick up the results for me ? 

Update .....I did finally get through....they said to get on 29th ????

I did ....I was on hold for over 30 minutes .....I have things to do today  so I figured just ask on here as maybe someone has some experience with this kind of situation.....????

Just been to cheang wattana  a few days ago to apply for yearly extension based on marriage.....all well...application accepted and passport stamped to pick up results on July 27th.....the government just announced holiday from 25th to 28th .....my question is : 

will immigration allow me to pick up results on the 24th before they close or do I have wait until they reopen on the 29th? I'm kinda pinched for time if have to wait till 29th ...????

I will do my 1 year extension....what I want to know is will they let me do it on time or do I have to wait until after july 31? ...its set to expire beginning of July and I had wanted to apply mid june . 

Ok, so I'm not clear this . For extensions based on marriage the immigration website says no need to do until I believe July 31.  My extension is due in the beginning of july ....money in the bank already seasoned , ect .....my question is:  I cant do until july 31 or I dont have to do until July 31....to be honest I would prefer to get it done asap if possible and avoid the mess cheang wattana will in the beginning of august....any clarification should be most appreciated....

I stand corrected .....online seems to work....I just used it ...it was the application from play store that isnt working ...keeps saying internal server error...but the online option works ....

Can't seem to get any solid info .....I have been told conflicting information from several people.....if I extend my type o visq (based on marriage) and use the embassy affidavit for income at cheang wattana do they usually ask for supporting documents or have they been asking for them lately? Some say yes and some no......

Did you have to supply any other documents along with the proof of income letter from the embassy to show the money coming into thailand ? 

I can get those no problem as my wife is part owner and the GM .....just with all the construction going on  and traffic it can be a few hours journey and would hate to have to go there more times than necessary, so trying to be as prepared as possible for the first round . 

Hi guys .........I am planning on extending my non o visa (based on marriage to thai national ) for the 4th time soon.....in previous years I have used the 400,000 in the bank route, but this year I dont  have  it to follow that route ..I just got a work permit about 3 months ago and will be able to produce tax records that I have paid tax on 50,000 baht per month salary for the past 3 months... I will be trying to extend at cheang wattana. Is there anyone else who has gone this route and what other documents do they require? As I would like try to minimize the amount of trips I have to take there .....
