Can anyone suggest if there is a service that could clear my studio flat in BKK & clean the property and then place it in storage or ship it to the UK for me without me being there or is this something that does not exist? There is a very little amount in the condo it's just that due to personal issues i am not sure i can get back there to do it myself and the contract ends at the end of november?

Thanks-Do immigration know from their system when you check out of a hotel or only check in? For example, If I went and stayed at a hotel for a week and then with some friends who did not register me for a few days before returning and re registering myself would I get fined for this not being done within 24 hours of leaving the first hotel?

Will my address on the system not have changed though? I was of the understanding I needed to 're check' myself in if my landlord cannot do that for me.

I study in Bangkok on a ED Visa. I rent a condo all year round and I am registered to this address. What is the process i need to follow at immigration when i return if i go and spend a week or two elsewhere and get checked in at a hotel. Do I need to do another TM30 at immigration in BKK?

Was there a proper reason why you can not stay at your old place?
I wanted to move to a condo as I had been staying with family-should this matter to immigration?

I tried to file this today at Bangkok immigration and she would not take it, Only said a TM.30 had to be done which it already had. Does anyone have any advice as to whether I should now try file this with police instead?

I need to go file a TM.28 in Bangkok this week as I am moving condos. I rented the property through an agent, I have contracts, copy of the owners ID card which is signed but they have not yet given me the copy of the Tabian Baan/Yellow Book or Blue Book. If I don't get this within 24 hours of moving in am I still able to go file the TM.28?

Thanks. I read this and it has confused me as to the correct process. Given things seem to be changing constantly I would like to be doing this the correct way.

Alternatively, If I stayed at a hotel to make this process easier does this not mean i need to re register myself once i am back in BKK?

Only for a week or so, I will be back in BKK for my next 90 day report. If I stay with friends and not in a hotel though does someone not need to register my address?

I am based in BKK on a ED Visa. I rent a condo here. If I wish to visit the south and stay with friends when I don't have classes what is my responsibility with regards to reporting when i go and return. My current understanding is, If I go to the south then my friends have to file a TM.30 on my behalf. Is there anything I have to do? When I return, How do I then notify immigration of my latest address. I had heard BKK did not take TM.30 forms but I have heard this may have changed?
Thanks

Can anyone suggest a good visa agent in bangkok. I appreciate it is cheaper to do oneself but if time is a struggle it would be very helpful to know of anyone legitimate.

Great thanks.

Hi,
I study here on a ED Visa with a university. At the moment I do 3 month extensions. My next 90 day report is due in a month. I am about to move properties from within Bangkok. Do i need to go to immigration with a TM.28 within 24 hours of moving. My landlord will be doing the TM.30. I have heard many conflicting things regarding the TM.28 though.
Thanks

Thanks-so will I be given a date for this in the future or do I just presume it to be within 90 days after my first extension?

I came to the country on a tourist visa (2 months and extended for a 3rd) I then switched to an ed visa which I did in Bangkok without leaving the country as I study at a university. I have had no date given to me about 90 day reporting but I am concerned this is something I should have done? My first three months of my ed visa expire in a few weeks so I will do my first extension of this soon.

Hi,
I need some help understanding the process of changing my visa from a tourist visa to an ed visa. I have been told by the university where i will study that i can do the changing of status process in Bangkok and do not need to leave the country, As long as I have 15/16 days left on my tourist visa. This has led me to two questions-
Am I able to do this on an extension of the tourist visa (e.g 60 day tourist visa but with 30 days extension) ?
What is the process required to do this at immigration-Is it generally easier to go somewhere like Singapore and change instead?
Why do they say you need 15/16 days to do the change-Is this because you have to leave your passport with them for this duration and that is how long it takes to process?
Thanks in advance-it seems quite hard to find information on this
Getting Thai Tourist visa in KL
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

Hi,
I have read some things about the experience of getting a thai tourist visa in kl. I have a blank passport, been out of thailand in in uk for 6 months. Before I was on a ed visa in thailand. Would it likely be ok?
