A coup without a coup.

No one is talking notice of this government now, it is totally overwemed, with the dismissal of the PM. They have screwed up everything, digital hand out tourism visas, tax, economy, and the last straw, the border dispute.

If the idiots allowed shop sales, like the off-licences we had in GB they wouldn't need to regulate online.

A lot expats are directed towards those agents by immigration so as to get a pay off, I know people who have had the correct paperwork, money in the bank, and still been refused, as soon as they approach an agent, all the paperwork and money are perfectly ok with immigration.

They say it started with a boundary dispute, how come? All boundaries are recorded and officially stamped at the local government land office. They wouldn't have been able to register the land if it encroached of another person's.

I don't know. I rented an apartment, but left after 5 weeks, I told the landlady she could keep the deposit, but she wanted the deposit plus another month's rent on top, she called the police, the office looked at the rent agreement and told her there was nothing in the agreement that said I had to give notice, he made her give me my deposit back. Then she said to check my passport, he replied, "I'm not here to check his passport". Then he said I could go, with the B6000 deposit.

I did sent B2500. They sent a picture of a licence with my pic on, then they asked for another B4990, that would be returned along with the licence on 3 working days. Need less to say I didn't send the B4990. But it down to experience. Called the DLT department, they told that no way could a third party get me a GENUINE Thai Driver's license without the person coming to the office himself.

What about the ones on line offering Thai car licence for B3500 within 3 days no test,no medical, no need to attend.

And most of the insurance agencies in Thailand don't pay out or find some lope hole to prevent paying up

I would say, no drivers license, and no vehicle insurance was the reason for doing a runner.

Border dispute won't really escalate into all out conflict/war. Unless someone on either side wants it to. A certain Thai politician being one of them. A lot of profit in war if you know the right people..

Of course you know all the details and have all the evidence to the crimes they say he committed. Why wouldn't any other government in the countries he stayed enforce the Thai warrants for his arrest? 80% of the Thai population voted for him and he helped those less fortunate, If not for his business dealings, True would still be a second-rate TV station, why was he opposed? because he wanted to implement the same as pita and the MFP and look what happened to him.
