I (48y/German) am living in Thailand for more than 10 years on tourist visas.
My last 15-20 entries on METV (8 METVs back to back).
3 times got interviewed by an IO but fortunately was allowed to enter the kingdom.
But never had problems when passing in the FAST LANE (1200 paid for this service or arrived on C-Class ticket)

Last year I have send my German passport by DHL to a Visa Service in Germany.
Never have arrived there.
For apply a new passport the Embassy needs a police report.
Took 15 min at police station Soi 9 and 100-200 Baht.

I enter 5-8 times a year by Suvarnabhumi Airport without problems so far but mostly use the Fast Track lane which cost me 1200 Baht or enter by C-Class ticket.
And I avoid female IO
How do you arrange the 1200 baht fast track lane?

In Thailand 4-8 weeks, sometimes only 1-2 weeks
Outside Thailand 1-2 weeks

Had the same problem with Immigration officer when enter with my 5th METV in row.
I was told that I cannot enter again with a tourist Visa and must apply for a Non-o Visa, for which I do not meet the requirements.
Next arrival had flown in Business class and I used the Fast Track Lane without any problem or questioning.
Looks like they not so strict when enter through this lane.
