great info.. thanks for that i am just back from laos with a motorcycle 350cc and all worked well.. tough i have used an agent for the paperwork.. 2500B if anyone is interested..with thatpaperwork i and my bike could stay up to 15 days and a 3rd party insurance in laos was included i needed to specify the entry and exit points and rough timelines ..my entry to lao was chong mek and exit via savanakhet..savan does not allow bikes to drive over the friendship bridge so u need to rent a pick up or flatbed for ur bike.. 1k baht ..the driver helps you fast track the immigration a bit depending on his "connections" not really needed but a welcomed advantage
