They are happy to lie about anything, it appears to me to be the national sport.

Sorry, but I do not think that his visa that is valid 1 year is finished because he lost his passport ?!
Immigration should just stamp the new passport with a copy of the valid visa ?!
His visa is finished, but yes he was stamped out. To avoid long process there ,get back into Thailand, see an agent

If he could find a way through the jungle,it would be far easier for him declaring it lost in Thailand, his visa is finished with passport. Had mine stolen in Aussie, temp one issued there,Thailand stamp added to it in Aussie, got permanent one in Thailand, then did the process of OA

If there is not an agreement with the said country you reside in, the law is that, ask pensions, ask any authority, no NHS when returning until a year is past---no driving licence unless you are residing-----You are scanned when entering and leaving the UK airport.

If you set up a Direct Debit whilst in the UK, or get someone else to do it for you, you can play legitimately wherever you are. Read the rules.

Only the mutts I have keep me here. Discussed it with vet having them PTS,seems heartless, which it is after all these years together, but I'm at the end of my tether.
More and more surrounding houses coming empty, nobody to buy or rent at farang prices, even Thais appear flat broke and absent friends upped sticks, its bloody frightening the ones leaving/are about to leave
