1/2. You can apply on the same day. But you will not be able to apply for the re-entry permit until you have the extension stamp in your passport so that you can get a copy of it to submit with the application. You will have to another queue number for it.

3, I would plan on being there most of the day to get both of them done.

It will be the same letter you got for the visa application. You will also need your bank book updated on the date you apply.

    hello,

Can you tell me if you know anyone who met very smart immigration people ? who made problems to issue both extension and multi reentry permit the same day ?

And no difference between immigration offices ? So it shouldn't be a problem anywhere ?

    Thank you.

Why not have a look at e.g. View Talay Condominium. I myself live longterm in View Talay 1B, about 1 km from Jomtien beach road.

Room prices getween 6000 to 15000 baht per month for long term stay (with or without utilities. Also very nice about View Talay 1, it has about 10 bars downstairs, 5 restaurants, several laundries, good WiFi-internet access covering the whole area (1200 a month), swimming pool, 2 internet shops, pizza place, and most (if not all disabled friendly (wheelchair access). Some rooms have clean service within the prices, if not the main office does room cleaning for 300 baht per room.

If you need more info let me know or pm me your email / telephone and I will send you a few contacts from different landlords

    Hello,

Yes I agree that View Talay 1 condo is the best choice for the price, anywhere around Pattaya and Jomtien, perfect location and only quiet nice people. I stayed there before and might stay again.

In case no room is available, do you know if the Jomtien long stay hotel is still friendly and cheap ?

    Thank you.

I had a hair transplant in a French run clinic on the island of Mauritius about 15 years ago. They used a dedicated team of about 20 to separate out and implant about 2000 hair follicles. It involved minor surgery to remove a strip from the back of the head,  These days I believe there are less invasive techniques available. Check out the options first.

It was the best decision I ever made. My implanted hair is still growing and gives me that sense of confidence when I look in the mirror. In all that time only one person has spotted that my 'young man's hairline' above my forehead is due to a transplant. I am not too worried about the thin-bald patch at the back, but this could have been improved by a second procedure.

Don't listen to all the bitter bald men trying to put you off. Do what you feel is right for you, (but I am not sure if I would trust a Thai clinic to make the best decisions about redistributing those valuable follicles.)

Modern hair transplant techniques do work..........well it worked for me.

Where in Mauritius ? I have seen direct flights with Air Austral to this island.

You must have sound reasons to want to do this but i can not imagine why.

I have been bald for a very long time with only a few patches left.

If i could find an affordable treatment to stop my hair from growing  would do that in an instant.Hair does not make you the person you are.

I would suggest to cut whatever you have left very short or even shave and try that for a fwe weeks. You will find out, nobody cares if you have hair or not.If there are a few who react negatively, tell them to get a life and look at their own short comings.

    Be bold and go bald!!

Sorry but usually it is to bald people that I want to tell to get a life.

How ugly it is to be old and bald, and especially with some ugly hair here and there. At least you had a face should totally shave. And no, I do not care what people think, but I care for myself and avoid looking like an old ugly hopeless guy !

Yes, and pay $1 or $2 each of your bananas... Enjoy !

  7. hello,

When I put still green bananas in the fridge (bottom, vegetables place), it seems that they stop ripening, and then, 1 day or 2 before eating them, I take them out to keep them growing ?

    Are my observations correct ?

I do not like the idea to have to peel them first and put them in a box, it's too much work ?

Please tell me if you ever had good results when keeping them green in the fridge ?

    Thanks.

What a strange comment. It's not a measure of intelligence. Even a genius might be unaware of what's going on in Poipet and for most people besides border runners, it's unimportant.

Even people like you who spend their life online do not know a lot it seems ?

I have never been to Poipet and do not need visa runs, but of course I know that it's not a place to do in-out, it has been told so many times on this forum.

Deodorants are just sprays to mask the odour and are without aluminium, such as Nivea Fresh Active.

The spray cans labelled "anti-perspirant"  are the ones with the aluminium.

There's a thai version of that crystal which can be bought at larger 7-11s and some pharmacies. See pic below. t's about 60 Baht and last for months.

Totally useless to smell good. Maybe useful to avoid smelling bad too quickly.

And it's called ALUM, but the purpose of this thread seems to avoid aluminium in products...

It probably didn't happen because it's the only report of extortion? Really? Jip99 is a respected, long-time member. He's not warning people as a wind-up. He's trying to inform people in an effort to warn them.

it's anyway already known since a long time by anybody with a brain and internet.

These natural/crystal deodorants do contain aluminium, if that's what people are afraid of, so changing to them seems pointless.

And as for the aluminium deodorant and cancer myth...….that's just what it is.

    https://www.cancerwa.asn.au/resources/cancermyths/deodorants-breast-myth/

There is insufficient evidence to support the myth that applying deodorant or antiperspirant after shaving will increase the risk of cancer, as demonstrated by the 2002 study mentioned above. The American Cancer Society (ACS) states that the main risk related to using theses products is that they can cause skin irritation if a razor nick or cut is infected.

And then within the next 20 years we will know the truth and that it was dangerous...

Just like it happens with most substances and meds.

To give additional confirmation that earning these types of salaries is/was possible - in the late 90's I had a 'one-man-band' online business writing SMS text-messaging application software and operating these services on many mobile networks in the UK, mainland Europe, Australia and the USA.

Typical monthly income for me was about $60,000 USD, some months as much as $150,000.  My automated software needed minimal management - it was a money-making machine and I sold out for more than $2 million.

Quite how I went from being a millionaire to being a teacher in Myanmar is another story LoL!

A story that you already published everywhere you could.

I imported some medical appliances from SA using Fedex. Never again! Apart from costing 3 times the item cost to import, the customs procedure is a nightmare. I even had to take my original passport to the customs office at Suvarnabhumi on top of numerous forms and finally a medical certificate.

Yes, and at that time you didn't have internet to check prior to buying...

  14. What is good when having a EU passport is to be able to move to any of 28 countries and live there without visa. Who would be stupid enough to only go where he is born is beyond understanding for me.

And it's also really good to live alone or with girlfriends without kids, the world has no limit.

Sad for the ones who put themselves in chain but you looked for it.

I feel the OP is being economical with the truth.

Courts in Australia don't usually hand out criminal records and jail sentences to first offenders, or for trivial offences. Judges and magistrates try to avoid the stain of a conviction if possible, because they know how that affects the future prospects of a defendant.

In one of his posts, the OP referred to steroids. He now says the issue was importation of pseudoephedrines for a sinus problem.

If he doesn't want to reveal the full circumstances of his conviction, fine. I suspect if that information became public knowledge, he would be getting much less sympathy.

I also do not believe that anyone would be jailed in Australia for just importing medicines...
