Me. Had no proof of funds. Platinum credit cards allowing me to buy a new truck don't count. A dreadful experience. That Monday, they were working hours longer... I used to like Sawannakhet.
If you show credit cards, how can you prove that they are not maxed out? Just curious.

It will be a pleasure to see this man dragged kicking and screaming out of the White House. I mean that literally, not figuratively.
He won't go quietly.

This kind of emphasizes his fear of being a loser.

He's cracking under the pressure.
He knows he's unpopular and the key to getting re-elected is the economy.
If he doesn't get re-elected and it becomes a single-term presidency, then, he's lost to Obama and everyone will know it. He'll become a "loser", the worst thing anyone can be in Trump's head.
He will also lose his immunity to prosecution and the Democrats are adamant that he will be held to account for his words and actions.

Funny thing is when I left many years ago I have kept a UK bank account (thankfully) but have hardly ever used it except for having a credit card linked to it which I have always had debt on. May well turn out to be a good thing as it has maintained my credit history so I should be ok if I head back in 2021, and will clear the debt well in advance.
I also have a couple of UK bank accounts. One sterling and one US$. Have had them since 1981. I also have a couple of credit cards that were issued by the same bank and I have always paid the full amount every month.
In the year 2000, I was getting my house built and had a cash-flow problem. I applied for a loan that amounted to two months salary, which they could see as a deposited every month.
I was turned down. The reason being that I didn't have a credit record.
Fiscally responsible people, those that save and pay off their debts immediately have been penalized for years with low interest rates and non-existent credit records. Those that are fiscally irresponsible are welcomed with open arms and are given my savings which the banks make money off. Sad state of affairs.

Possibly, but I don't fancy being a 'farang' for the rest of my life. End of the day home is home and this country will never be that, we aren't even welcomed here and in the most part just seen as ATM's.
I've been a foreigner since I was 21, so I'm used to it. In fact, so much so, I don't want to rejoin the herd anymore.

Then you should be able to do it now, if the money has already been seasoned for two months.

Sorry I didnt give enough information I already have the Non-imm O and I have already had the 400k in Thai baht in my own Thai bank account for over two months.
With the 400k, I presume you are going for the extension by reason of marriage?
-
You can't. Your visa first needs to be converted to a Non-Imm O visa which can be done by immigration in Thailand.
You will have to be married, or, over 50. Then there are the financial requirements depending on your situation.

Why not do your transfers in the middle of each month? Far safer if early or, late.

The handle will stay attached to a 99 baht Wok when used every day for 30 years? Really?
Do you use your frying pan every day?
If any of my pan's handles feel loose, I just use a screw-driver to tighten them up. I've had many of my pots and pans for over 20 years, so, having them another 10 years is not a big stretch of the imagination.
You don't seem very smart, but, I won't hold that against you.......

Wrong on two counts!
You DO NOT cut the corner off yourself. It is cut by the staff at Trendy when you collect your new one.
You DO NOT have to get a letter from the British embassy. The required letter is issued to by, once again, by the staff at Trendy.
Got that?
Calm down! You'll blow a blood vessel.
OK, things have changed since 2015 which was when I got my new passport.

How much does that cost ? Which British Embassy , Bangkok ? That is one hell of a trip and more expense for people who live up North and down South .
Sorry, can't remember cost. You can book an appointment at the British embassy on the same day you pick up your new passport from the Trendy building. I believe you can also get the letter via email. The embassy will post it to you.

A related question, do they keep your old passport during the renewal process? (4 weeks+)
Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa ConnectNo, you keep your passport during the application. Once you have your new passport, you cut the corners yourself.
Please note that you have to get a letter from the British embassy to state that your new passport is genuine to enable you to transfer the stamps from old to new passport. Thai immigration won't do it without this letter.

That is some serious rose tinited glasses.
OK then, please explain how you wear out a wok.

Phuket immigration are suspicious of all Ed visas. Not surprising really as a high percentage of holders only want the visa and not so much the knowledge that they're supposed to be learning.

Seems to me that most immigration offices want a new TM30 when coming back from another country. This kinda makes sense as your TM6 number will have changed and that is on the TM30 form.
Many immigration offices are saying they don't need a new TM30 form if traveling within Thailand.
I've been sticking with the above and have had no problems (yet) with extensions, 90 day reports, or re-entry permits. My local immigration office is Phuket.

Thai government does not want anyone to know the true number. They are afraid if we knew we might together and demand change to all the immigration laws or demand they be administrated on using a common definition and application.
This "BS" of different interpretation by office and officer is CRAZY.
More likely that they don't want voting age Thais to know.
Requirement to keep outdated 90 day reports

Maybe the agent is getting the 90 day report mixed up with Extensions.
When going for an Extension in Phuket, you have to photocopy the last three Extensions (if applicable).
