Thanks. Do Indians get 30 day vacations normally? Most Thais get 1-2 weeks.
I've no idea but there are many wealthy Indians.

Nah TIT he has pleaded guilty so a 50% discount on a 20-25yr sentence, out in 10yrs max more likely.

Despite Thawatchai possessing a firearm, he did not return fire.

Bit hard to gab your gun and return fire, when you have been shot multiple times.
Glad to hear gun control is going well then.

The initial acquittal by the Trang Provincial Court had shocked many, given the evidence presented during the trial.

What a corrupt country this is, from the very top down. If no appeal had been lodged then they would still be free. These village headman seem to be behind a lot of crime in Thailand, anything for money including murder.
I guess I'll have to search other news sources to find out the motive.

The scheme involved organizing 18-day tours for foreign tourists, covering popular destinations including Bangkok, Khao Sok, Koh Phangan, Phi Phi Islands, Phuket, and Chiang Mai. The cost per participant was £1,499, which converts to about 70,121.91 Baht. The Koh Phangan leg of the tour spanned days 5 to 8, with tourists provided free accommodation during their stay.
The police discovered that E. had hired two silver vans to transport tourists around the island. Destinations included the Chinracha Boxing Stadium and other popular sites. These unauthorised tours were run by his company, Sterling Ling Travel.
Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, 83 quid a day including accommodation and transport. His overheads must have been quite high.

Similar normally refers to something you have seen or remembered before

Well he seems good at that.
I remember my friend who sent his son to a Wat/temple to learn Buddhism, for 6 weeks, he was half Thai, and could only see him at weekends, but what shocked me was that no physical contact was allowed with his parents for those 6 weeks, he was 7years old. I wonder who gave him 'Cuddles and hugs'.

Filming in a public place is legal, but as I understand it you must ask someone if they mind being on camera. Having said that it doesn't make what this fragile pathetic Thai did to the Korean guy, I hope he has to pay for medical bills, pain and suffering, and GBH, but TIT, no doubt if it it had been the other way round the Korean would be arrested.
Also what language was the sign in ?

Deductions for self over 65 = 190,000 baht
Wife 60,000 baht
1 child 60,000 baht
2nd child 60,000 baht
3rd child 60,000 baht
4th child 60,000 baht
Goods and services purchased 50,000 baht
= 540,000 baht
So 1,000,000 -
540,000
= 460,000 over the tax scale
= 39,500 baht payable in tax, i.e. if my money was deemed income, which it isn't, it's proceeds from a sale of my principal place of residence some years ago, so zero tax would be payable IMO.
Almost got my knickers in a knot over nothing.
Agree I find this fear mongering when most won't have to pay any Thai tax.

particularly among retirees who have enjoyed years of tax-free income.
The headline on all these stories should make it clear, if you're income is below your country's
tax free income then it will not apply, all my 'Income' is below any tax, and any interest I earn in my Thai bank is taxed at source.
Do most expats not pay tax at source when working in Thailand ?

Well the cops in the first Photo seem to think it is hilarious, as they know who will come out on top of any charges laid, it will be the mafia of the guards IMO.

Stop it with your misinformation. Rip currents do not exist (even though you and I have both been in trouble in them). Koh Chang doesn't even exist either, stop making stuff up!
It astounds me that the guy is telling us to stop posting misinformation when he is posting the worst most dangerous misinformation and telling people if they are caught in a rip (which don't exist, remember?) then they should swim directly against it back to shore. THIS ADVICE COULD KILL SOMEONE!
Bugger Koh Chang just disappeared, my home is now just floating in the sea, Thank got there is no rip. I wonder where that ferry is heading......

Dead bodies seem to be found all over the country, nearly on a weekly basis.

Only 21 and addicted to gambling and IMO the drugs too. Never mind 50% discount on any sentence for pleading guilty.

A chilling incident at a well-known shopping mall left many stunned after a hooded man sold a murdered victim’s mobile phone. The mysterious hooded man was allegedly the dead man’s ghost.
Shop employees were shocked to see a man in a blue shirt, later identified as the deceased, following the suspect the entire time.
So a ghost following his own ghost ? Can the person who wrote this report please explain what it means. Although I can take an educated guess.
A hooded man who was NOT the dead man's ghost sold a phone, and was followed by a ghost, otherwise the phone would have floated through the air.

I still find it strange that a PM comments or is even asked about an arrested criminal, even after many years here.
