Did you show them your income letter? That is all you will need since they are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
No is he short answer so looks like my fault for lack of foresight to take the letter.

In addition to the above I do have an embassy letter dated 4th December 2018 stating that I had produced evidence to show that a monthly income in excess of 5000 pounds sterling, which at 41.00 baht to the pound is in excess of 200,000 baht per month.

Thanks for the quick reply. No mention was made of the 800k but just as I have written in my question.

I visited the Immigration Office in Khon Kaen recently to ask about what financial requirement they required in order to renew my Retirement Stamp in January 2019.
My understanding from what was said is that the embassy letter is no longer required. Evidence by way of an updated bank book that showed between 200 - 300K baht in the book and proof of a minimum income of 65K per month. No mention was made about the requirement to have the money in the book 3 months previous to the application.
I would welcome anyone who uses Khon Kaen Immigration and has very recently renewed their Retirement Stamp to confirm or otherwise this information.
with respect I am not interested in what other Immigration Offices outside the province of Khon Kaen require since they all have different interpretations of the rules.
Many Thanks in advance

Advice Please. My Retirement Stamp expires on 1 February 2019. I have to go to the UK for medical treatment within the next week. If my treatment takes over the expiry date of 1 February 2019 will I have to start the Retirement process again when ever I return after 1 February 2019.
Many thanks in advance

That's putting it mildly. Maybe I shouldn't have read the many comments on this forum.
