  1. Hello I plan to go to Satun boarder to reactivate my multiple Non O visa based on marrige. I been in Thailand for 2 years and are 35 years old. Any problems reported @ this boarder? Like refusal of entry? Or any kind of other issues? Is this a ok boarder to use? Im alittle scared from my previous SETV trips, but if I understand correct I will not be looked at as bad as i did with my SETV's right? Can I feel safe about this? Any other information about this boarder are also much appritiated as I never been to this one.  Thanks in advance.

  2. Im writing the visa application form that I download from here.

There is no box to mark for multiple-entry Non-o... Should I write Multiple entry behind the box for Non-Immigrant Visa? Or what to do here?? Its important I get the multiple entry, so I want to do it the right way... Maby they have a form with multiple entry in the consulate??

    Thanks for your help

  3. I'm planning my first visa trip to Savannaketh from south thailand.

I dont want to go trough immigration @ Don mueang airport, so I have to arrive on a thai airport first.

I see the airports in TH that's near Savannakhet is Nakhon Phanom, Sakon Nakhom or Udon Ratchathani.

What would be the best choise of airport? And how do I travel from there to Savannakhet? Any travel agency's or something that sells the trip to Savannaketh? And is there any place near the consulate for passport copys etc.? Anybody have a link to the visa application form?? They sell only multi non O there right? So I dont get a single entry one... And do I apply for the visa to Laos @ the Laos border? Are there any application form I can download for the Laos visa? I'd like to speed things up as much as I can here...

Never been in Laos before so -

Thank you all nice people for the great advice in this forum, you rock!

  4. I understand that the consulate in Savannakhet dont ask for proof of funds for what i belive is the ME Non O visa ( is this the right term of the visa? ME Non O - based on marrige or is it ME imm O - based on marrige?? ) Im a newbe to this, so i dont even know the term of the visa to apply for. And do I understand right, that I have to extend this after 30 days @ my immigration office? Do I need to show any proof of funds to the immigration office? And what is the prosess there if any??? 90 day reporting or just boarder bounces? Can someone please explain how this visa works? I need the information with a teaspoon. I'm getting married next month...And also can I get a 1 year single entry visa, so I dont need to do boarder runs??with no proof of funds of course?? If so where and how??? Thanks in advance

  5. Yes, they will come. Just to see you live there and they take some photo's. Normally they don't go inside your house and they just have a nice little chat with you, notthing to worry about. A friend of mine with retirement visa had a visit last month, they was very nice, but they did not call him to say they where comeing...

There is no form number for it. You can download it by clicking this. Transfer Stamps To A New Passport

They might have you fill out different form but that is the one shown on the immigration website,

Can this form be used @ all immigration office? Like koh samui to? And is it not possible to get a form @ the immigration office? And what about if I live Thailand, this can be done @ the boarder if I understand correct? And do I need to have a form to do it @ a boarder? Like Nong Kai landboarder to Laos? TIA

  7. Hi helpful friends! I went to Penang trough Sadao landborder. I got the redstamp saying I've been in the contry long time and I cant get a new SETV. I had 3 SETV's btw. I flew back in to Phuket, got some questions about what I do in Thailand and the IO gave me 30 days exempt. Now I need a new passport. What is the best way to do it? I mean for getting moved my entry stamp etc??? What stamps need to be moved?? I'm going to Koh Samui immigration office for a 30 day extention, is it a good ide to do it there?? Or do I do this when I go out of the country for my next SETV? I plan to go Vientiane LAOS trough Nong kai land boarder next time btw. Any information much appriciated. Thank's in advance.

  8. Hi! I read around the web, I can only get 3 to 4 SETV's ( single entry tourist visa ) back to back. I also read that there is no law about how many SETV's you can get, aswell as I read about many other's that have stayed in Thailand for many years on SETV's... I have lots of money and plan to stay in Th for a long time. I'm only 35 years old, I don't work and are not married yet, so my only visa option is SETV. I'm going to Penang for my SETV number 4 next week ( I have talked to an agent there and he says he can fix that, but it will be the last SETV from Penang ). So what do I do after that?? Get a new passport or can I get a new SETV from Laos??? How do you guys that have stayed here for many years do it???? I really need some help... It's very ok if you want to send me a private message or write here.

    Thanks so much in advance.
