What's stoping you guys from getting a proper visa or extension of stay?  Wish nothing but the best for all of you to get this fix. 

I guess you have to pay to stay.  Having insurance is a great idea anyway.  Question, if you don't have peace of mind are you really living the retirement dream.

Like they need to be lectured by broke farangs who got ran out of the West due to poor work ethic and bad decisions. Take a look in the mirror before you talk.

Guys, what's the point of complaining about every decision Thai authorities make?  We should wish nothing but the best for the country that has allowed us to live.

This one is easy since you have a low pension you should go for the one with the lower income requirement, and that would be marriage.

I used the income method last month.  What method did you use for your retirement extention of stay? Do you have deposits into a Thai Bank of at least 40,000 baht going back 12 months or at least Jan?

Yes, we should all go out and pick 800k off of the money trees we planted in our gardens last year and then deposit it into a Thai Bank.  Why we think of this before? Thanks Hennyford!
