The whole Pattaya city is like an empty ghost. How many lives broken for years? Extra week of day offs is what they need, sure.

partially open fitness centres for free weight training (no workouts in groups or use of exercise machines)
Usually, even without pandemic, each person clean all exercise machines with chlorine before use. The only exception are free weights. Nobody cleans them :D. So, they probably never go to the gym ????

Let them get a hefty fine. Can't help stupid people.
Quite easy actually. The only thing you need is just don't speak english at all.

Arrest them, jail them and let the whole world know how fairly Thailand enforces their laws . That should bring more tourists in the future for sure. Paradise under the gun.

Wow, wow. Then you should not go out at all since it is also an attempted murder. I wonder what would you say if next they will order to wear a mask in your own house.

Just back from Pattaya beach road. Was warned in a quite aggressive manner by the police that I can't walk along the street and I must go to another side of the road. I was jogging alone. So, you can't even step in there by law.
Thanks for not throwing me to jail for such a serious crime.

Well seeing how people are arrested and probably thrown to jail makes me afraid even going there.

It would be much less work for the cops to simply break up the few groups of people along the beach than it has been to clean everyone off them completely. And to what end? Thais and farangs end up thinking the police are on a power mad fascist trip, or fishing for tea money. All it needed was for the Guvnor to sit and think calmly for five minutes instead of adopting the usual Thai "I can therefore I will" approach to the use of power.
Freedom means nothing to the authorities of this country. They have just too much power here. I personally expect this country will not be free for a long time even after the covid is gone just because they won't be interested to give back the freedom they have already taken.

So, I can't exercise either on the beach nor on beach road? Or just can't do it in a group?

Law enforcement Thai style ????

So, how long they will stay in prison?

Just give her whatever she wants until such expense is not too significant for you. And don't overestimate your "food, dentist & good accommodations"

So, if I go swim on the beach I have to wear a mask? ???? I wonder how many people end up in a mental hospital during the quarantine
-
I wonder would they send overstayers to prison, deport and blacklist then?

Catch this guy and just shoot him Say he was resisting arrest or something
He doesn't deserve to be shot dead. He deserves die slowly in pain. I, personally, prefer he will be burned slowly at the place of the crime. That will be fair.

Fair revenge for typical scammer. His defenders definitely have never been scammed in Thailand. Even close.
