Ta. I'm sure members who do extensions there will be along to advise if tm30 is required. Previously it was never required at CW imm bkk, now it is, hence has kicked off the numerous threads about this topic.

I think Jomtien is another imm office that does not require tm30.

The TM30 is only inspected at Extension time, or at 90 Day Renewal, or both?

  2. I'll be doing my first TM30 shortly, so what needs to go with the TM30 form?

We live in a rented house, the lease to which is in my wife's name.

From what I can ascertain so far, it's my passport photo page, my wife's ID card and the lease, all suitably signed.

    Anything else?

I received a very helpful PM from someone who has recently dealt with NP Immigration and it seems they are not that interested in the TM30, but I'll do one just to be on the safe side. ????

    Yes. Also called section38.

Edit: I previously downloaded this app for iOS and it works but this link and search seems to not work today unless they are updating it??

Thanks, I tried the link and it comes back as “App unavailable”.

I’ll have another go next week and thanks for the link. ????

Just checked with my friend who renewed last week at Cambodia Inter soi boo-cow .

They now charge 13,900 for renewal of retirement visa. Up 1000.

Ticktok services are still the same at 15,000

    Key visa 15,000.

Khao Talo visa service , iv'e heard 15,000. not verified.

All genuine stamps issued by thailands finest IO's.  Must attend for photo shoot.

    Why pay more?

FWIW, I just asked Tik Tok and it's 15,000 for the retirement visa plus 3800 for the multiple entry option, or plus 1,000 for the single entry option.

TM30 Law & Application The law governing the TM30 form was introduced a long time ago alongside the Hotel Act of 2005

However, actually requirement varies from Immigration office to office.

TBH,if I hadn’t read this forum, I’d never have heard of it.

At what point is it checked?  90 day report?

For 12,500 the agent gets the retirement extension, and also does the 90 day reporting all included in the 12,500.  For me the best solution, as I don't need to break my investments abroad where I'm earning much more than the agency fee. And no need to get involved with keeping 800k in Thai banks and all the other BS

This assumes you already have a single entry Non-O then?

I've seen ads for 19,500 and even 25,000.  All for the same services?

The airline won't let you check in without an outbound ticket, because if for any reason you were refused entry they'd be responsible at their cost for flying you back.

You could complete the online application from Thailand before travelling.

Once in the UK you could submit by post and receive return Passport and Visa in 5 working days.

Reading your previous posts, your preference seems to be the Non Imm O ME, as opposed to a single entry then an extension from Immigration.

It's still possible to apply for the Non Imm O ME from Savannakhet or HCMC with no financial proof.

I’m only in England for 4 working days, so it’s a bit of a risk.

Usually,  I’m there for at least two weeks, so no problem, but not this time.

So, now I have a problem then?

That depends upon where you apply for the visa. At most embassies and consulates it not required for non-o visa.

If needed you can but lost cost one way ticket to a nearby country. By purchases them 2 or 3 months in advance you can find one for not much more that 1000 baht.

A onward ticket is required for a tourist visa application as well.

It is possible to apply for a 90 day non immigrant visa (category O) entry at immigration after entering on a tourist visa or a 30 day visa exempt entry. You have to meet the same financial requirements needed for the extension of stay you will be applying for but for the money in the bank option it only has to be in the bank on the date you apply.

So if I were to arrive from London on a Visa Exempt entry, I can come in without the onward ticket?

i bought my return ticket TO London here, thinking I could sort the O visa out once I got back.  I won’t be in the UK long enough to apply for a new O visa there.
