I need divorce advice from English speaking lawyer in Chiang Mai. I live in Chiang Mai, wife lives in Isaan. Want to be sure I have all bases covered before I make the drive. Any help will be appreciated.

I was unable to set up a bank account on my last trip. Each bank seemed to have a different reason for refusing. I am married to a beautiful Thai lady and want to get my Type-O visa. I need to get the account set up and the $400,000.00 Baht in it to apply. I do not have a work permit. I am confused about the process to get the Type-O visa as well. Can I go for an extended period without having the Type-O visa while I am waiting the banks  2 months?  How many times can you go out and come back in each year to extend your stay. Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated. I am from the USA.

When you come into Thailand on the 30 day travel Visa. How many times can you go out and get a stamp and come back? My last trip I came for 31 days. I asked the person in immigration when I came in if I needed to go out and get a stamp and they said as long as i did not overstay more then 24 hours I would be fine. When I tried to come home they counted the day I came in and said I had overstayed 2 days and made me pay the fine. Not a big deal but did concern me a bit. I am just curious how many times you can travel out and come back before they will fine you or make you leave and ban you from the country. I have many questions coming up since I will be coming soon. I truly appreciate all input from everyone here.

I am from the US, marrying a Thai lady soon. We used one of the services to take care of our documents for the marriage. Should I use them for my Thailand marriage visa or is this something I can do on my own? I have many things to learn about the rules and regulations in Thailand. We are going to start a business in Isaan after the marriage is complete.
