No, after your 2 months + extension, you could do three consequitive border runs, since only these are counted towards the 90 days limit.
Days spend on tourist visa, don't count toward the limit.
So, (I am kind of retarded) : one single entry tourist visa is good for (about) 6 months stay in Thailand, before I need to head off for a new single entry tourist visa ?
-
Correct me if I am wrong, but with a single entry tourist visa I can stay in Thailand, (including borderruns) for about 5 months : 60 days + extension 30 days + 2 borderruns = 60 days, makes about 5 months ? If I would do a 3rd borderrun I would have to stay out of Thailand for a minimum period of 90 days after those last 30 days ?

Is it any problem to buy let's say 20 CD's/DVD's in Tachilek and bring them over the border to Mae Sai or can I expect a rigid and ruthless inspection ?
-
Is one still occasionally being asked to show that one is able to support oneself by showing 10.000 or 20.000 Baht to the customs officials ? And if so, is one been allowed to withdraw it from the nearest ATM just over the border in Tachilek if one doesn't have it in one's wallet ?

Um, at the risk of sounding blunt, if you haven't learned to make a resume in your own country you probably shouldn't be applying for jobs in other countries. As a second thought, what kind of resume are you talking about? Are you looking for a teaching job (this is the teaching subforum)? Are you hoping to teach English or another subject? All of these things affect the answer to your question.

Um, at the risk of sounding blunt : since this is the Teaching in Thailand forum, I did assume that it would be clear that I wanted to have specific information related to this "Teaching in Thailand" forum. So, if there are people out there reading this post who want to reply in an unrelated way, I urge them not to do so !

What (relevant) information should be included in a resume ?
-
Royal Society of Arts....but it's now UCLES not that (and what relevance did it have to teaching?).
Oh, and Boter : before posting a question about the meaning of "UCLES", this stands for "University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate". NOW WE KNOW !!!

Hope not it would be waste of good shelf space.
How about some good shelf space in your brains ?
Got none - pickled already Lots of good non alcoholic drinks around why make beer without alcolhol? Pointless.
I happen to like the taste of beer. In my home country there is excellent tasting "malt beer" for sale, with an alcohol percentage of (about) 0.1.
buy beer then!
I can only assume that both "Donnyboy" and "Samsipet" were (heavily) under the influence of alcohol, when trying to score their clueless points...
Thanks "DrFisher", I will have a look at Rimping supermarket.
Unfortunately, due to computerproblems, my reply to "Donnyboy" and "Samsipet" has been posted twice. And no, I wasn't under the influence of alcohol...
