  1. We are planning to submit i 130 petition to get CR 1 Visa to US. We will use DCF process in Bangkok.

One tranlsator said to us that we need both document to be translated and certified by Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

I don't understand why US embassy would care about registry page (kor ror 2) if the actual marriage certificate (kor ror 3) is present.  Couldn't find any information online. On US Embassy web site it's just says that we need marriage certificate with translation.

Do we need both thai marriage documents to prove our marriage or only the actual marriage certificate (kor ror 3)?

Do they really need to be certified by MFA?

  2. They have instructions, but it's not entirely clear: http://pcscenter.sb.police.go.th/filedownload/infomation-service-2.pdf

    1. What does "certified copy" mean? Is it just a photocopy with my signature? Or can I certify it in Chiang Mai with help of thai lawyer? My embassy is in Bangkok, certifying documents using my embassy would be a pain.

    2. "Document(s) stating that the applicant is used to work or reside in Thailand." Do I need this? I have only a tourist visa and letter from landlord.

    3. "Letter explain the purpose of request and which country to use (only one country ) or write in the application form that can download from our website : www.pcscenter.sb.police.go.th"

Can I just write something like "The purpose is to fulfill request US Embassy for additional documents for visa application" or do I need some document from US Embassy?
