No Deal is the best deal. Australia terms is not about trading with Australia but about expecting the same trade conditions that Australia has. However there is no reason the pre EU trading between UK Australia NZ and Canada couldn't resume. Brexit has become like stepping in a dog turd that you can't shake off your shoe. Look at ducted air conditioning. You can use it just as a fan or you can activate the AC if you need it. Steam room .. Nah! I have a garden bathroom but that is because all my house bathrooms are en-suite. Coal powered cars are a great idea but It will be a long while before they replace Diesel.

Covid lock-down has given the Greenies everything they asked for... Planet saved, they can be ignored now. Covid lock-down has give the Marxists a trial run of their green new deal. So everyone knows what they're buying if they vote for that. Nationalism, controlled borders has saved the day. Obviously we can learn from that. Flattening the curve is about adjusting the infection rate to keep the hospitals running at full capacity. More testing is the catch cry of people who can't solve Sudoku. We can make logical deductions and valid assumptions from select data samples without needing to test everyone. We have learned (yet again) not to trust computer models. We saw how well that worked with climate change. We have learned that everything is political and therefore the fear-mongering is deliberate. We need to stop comparing Covid deaths to immortality. The natural cycle of life claimed 2.9 million lives in the USA last year. That's an average of nearly 8000 per day. To advocate extended lock-down is just another form of virtue signalling. Covid death statistics are starting to converge with normal flu. Latest studies in California show that millions more have silently recovered and didn't know they had it.

Covid is real but it has been hyped out of proportion by fake news and we all know why. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ This site shows the following: 96% tested positive with mild or no symptoms. 4% had critical symptoms. 80% of those went on to recovery. Of the less than 1% tested who died many had previous medical history and were not strong enough to fight it.

I read 4 out of 5 infected people show no symptoms.
If you have no symptoms then I would avoid being tested.
You could get dragged off to isolation, only to find you are not insured for a false alarm.
Get tested if you are experiencing any respiratory symptoms.
Some tests (anti-body tests) can confirm you have had it and are now recovered,

Last year USA managed to achieve just under 3 million deaths without Covid. That's around 8000 per day. They all died of something. (Nobody really dies of natural causes!) It will be interesting to see what this years death statistic turns out to be with Covid. If there is an increase then we can blame Covid. Of course we should also offset that with the shutdown of planned parenthood.

COV19 is a pandemic of stupidity and fear mongering. USA has zero death and 100% survival. Statistically you cannot improve on that, no matter how much you spend!. Trump said that 60,000 people died in the USA of normal boring flu. That's an average of 5000 per month. But that should be overlaid by a winter bell curve. so may-be nearer to 10,000 in the winter months. I would be far more worried about being one of the 10,000 dead victims of boring flu than one of the 100% COV19 survivors. Flu is less prevalent and has milder symptoms in the warmer months. The treatment for COV19 is to interlock your fingers and rotate your thumbs for 30 days. The only real downside is how much Judge Judy you get to watch. As I understand it, nobody dies of COV19 they die of complications such as Pneumonia. But only a few COV19 infected develop those symptoms. One of the big problems is the web sites show alarmist information sch as the number of COV19 infected since Jesus. This figure will never diminish. We need to know currently infected, dead and recovered. The underlying problem is too many people have watched Zombie apocalypse movies. People think pandemics cause the dead to walk. They want to know if the dead were head shot with a silver bullet or decapitated by a katana. Its the bloody FLU!

Thai elite visa 500,000 baht for 5 years is better value than it seems. health insurance will cost more than half of that and there's no saying you could ever claim successfully. When you consider it comes with a 5 year exemption of the next 5 immigration "Rule of the Year" conundrums. 2018 must have 800,000 in the bank. 2019 must have heath insurance. 2020 must be able to fly a dragon! Elite looks quite good.

Evening all. Apparently keying the radio transmitter as the breath sample was taken would produce a false positive on portable electronic breath analysers used in the late 80's. Of course the real machine at the station would show clear.
