  2. Hi , can any one tell me How far in advance can I report for the 90 day reporting on line .My is due on the 10th of July. I tried today (16th June) normally I had no problem doing online reporting today I got a message saying to contact immigration. I’ll admit I never tried doing  It this early before, could that be my problem?

    Many thanks .

As said they do work but if people don't comply which is what is happening then it does no good.

Not only that people don't understand the incubation contagious period where people are infected and and can pass on the virus without knowing it, which is the main problem IMHO.

Firstly Thais in general are doing a good job complying , secondly the restriction are working , remember we are not trying to fix the problem we are trying to contain it until such time a vaccine is developed. Thirdly you cannot say people are not complying so let let’s not have lock downs and and other restrictions to contain the virus. That concept at best lacks foresight and planing in my opinion.

  4. I cannot for the light of me believe that there still people out their stating that lock downs and curfews don’t work . They are working or is that just a big hoax ? Lock downs and curfews is what the scientific and medical community been saying to do since the inception of this virus. Like I said scientist are endeavouring to contain this thing until a vaccine is produced .

Obviously I meant in the long term. Like I said, it will buy a short time. But eventually the curfews and lockdowns will have to stop. If you have not identified and isolated the infected by then, what will happen?

You will just get further waves of infected.

So in the long term curfews and lockdowns will achieve nothing.

Guys, what you suggest is exactly what this amnesty was to prevent.

Those with short term permission to stay not visiting the Immigration offices.

You don't need to apply for 30, or 60 day extensions of any kind as your exempt and have permission to stay until further announcements, be it 1, 2, or 3 months.

The cabinet didn't approve this order to not have foreigners huddled together like sheep, wondering if the guy in front or behind may be a virus carry. It was approved to protect the Immigration officers who had to go face to face with a hundred sheep, any one of whom could be carrying the virus.

You had to bump shoulders with a few, whilst the IO's were forced to bump shoulders with hundreds

Even those of us that have an annual extension are exempt 90 day reports until notified otherwise.

The only visitors to Immigration should be the long stay termers who need to apply for their annual extensions. Everyone else 'stay home'.

People , stop creating stress for yourself and putting people and Staff that have no choice but to go to the immigration department in harms way . It’s a amnesty, thats means a period of time that’s granted without people being punished It been past by the government its law. I’ll also like to think that if you do show up there , you be told to go away . Stop over thinking its simple directive .

For an extension of stay based on retirement, you need to have 800,000 baht in the account for two months before the extension and three months after. In addition, if this is not the first retirement extension, you must have retained a balance of 400,000 baht throughout the prior year.

Guys thats interesting , I thought 2 months before also . This is what happened to me , I purchase a condo a few years ago now and I needed to go into my account containing the 800000 bath for my visa I took out 200000 baht . I put back the 200000 baht 2.5 month before going to renew my Visa I also took the documentation regarding the purchase of the condo indicating  that I own it not the bank.  I was told in a friendly professional way by the lady serving me that the monies had to be in the bank for 3 months before . It confusing and a little frustrating  sometimes dealing with immigration, having said that , in the six years I been dealing with them I aways found the people behind the counter/ desk friendly and professional. Hope that all will go smoothly for you mate .

  8. In my opinion, what nationality the infected were from is totally irrelevant.

The question is why was there a aircraft flying into Thailand from another country anyway.

We need to get series about containing this thing and then killing it.

At the moment , it’s killing us, and we collectively are taking half measures to try to contain it , in hope that it will go away soon.

God help us , that’s all I can say .

Just wait awhile longer. I read a post earlier by a person that got his approval 4 days after his report date.

I submitted my info. on Tuesday 31 March at 10.00 AM and received a transaction reference number. But 90 day report still pending. I guess from reading the comments here I will have to wait a while longer. Maybe up to a week or more.

Mate , I wouldn’t worry I did my on the 26th and it was approved on the 1st. They are just flat out I think .

If it’s pending , you have up held your responsibility so I doubt that there be any repercussions.

    Stay Safe.

What's the point? The numbers of covid19 deaths will be astronomical whether or not a curfew is imposed or not. Plus the numbers given up to now are pathetic and an insult to even the stupidest in society.

This curfew will just squeeze the life out of the people even more. The country is gonna be in a dreadful state when this thing is declared over and borders open, etc again.

If the economy doesn't collapse completely i'll be amazed

A little late coming , but I applaud the decision its is most definitely pointing us in the right direction in this battle.

  11. Guys if some could shed some light on my problem.

today I spoke to my agent at Thailife insurance , as I wanted to renew my insurance policies , as I am due to up date my retirement visa, it noteworthy to mention that I had this insurance policy since I got my visa 6 years ago.

my agent at Thailife informed that she could not help because the migration will not except their policy .

can anyone shed some light on this concern .

Also will migration except a photostat copy of my visa application , I really don’t want to make two trips in there . I deal with the head office in Bangkok.

    thank you very much .

  12. Guys I’am a little confused , in May I need to  renew my retirement visa . Has anything changed from last year . I am being told about a letter from the Australian embassy regarding the virus ??? is this true or false ? I been a resident in Thailand going on 6 years on this  retirement visa , I have accident insurance & medical insurance since day one , I also took out the virus insurance.

can anyone please shed some light on the letter subject especially.

    Many thank .

When is your Extension due?  You may need it then, as there are reports that people are not being allowed to do their Extension at CW without a TM30 on file.  You or your wife can submit one by mail, or you can register for online reporting, or you can go and do it in person.  If you do it in person, be prepared to pay a fine.

  14. My query regarding the TM30 form , now to be honest I didn’t even know about TM 30 form until I read about it here a few days ago. In fact a week ago I when into the IM HO in Bangkok to do my 90 day reporting there was no mention of this requirement then nor every before  .Now my wife has alway accompanied me to the IM office , neither of us has ever been asked or question about the TM 30 form further to this after renewing my retirement visa this year two officers visited our home ( we where told this could happen when they reissued the visa the 5th time ) the concept was to confirm that I actually live there . There was no problem in fact both Officers where very pleasant people they checked the home for evidence that I lived there (that was self evident)  took a photograph of my wife with one of the officers and I in from of our home and that was it again there was no mention of a TM 30 requirement at this time .

Now if the TM is requirement I’am cool with that . Question is should my wife complete  this form and present it now or just wait until we are inform / questioned about TM30

    Again many thanks for help.
