I am planning to do a border run to the Mae Sai - Tachileik border in the next 2 days. I thought of getting the visiting pass for 10$ and combining that with a few days vipassana in a Burmese meditation center.
However, information seems hard to come by. Does anyone know if there is a meditation center in or around Tachileik, that would accept a foreigner for a few days of self-retreat?
