  1. Thank God someone has spoken out πŸ‘
  2. Good God... more of the enriching cultural values and a force of good for the world 😣
  3. Well I think if the average Chinese person was not so brainwashed by the notion that their dinosaur-in-a-suit of a leader's mantra, was a deeply humanitarian force of good for the world, I'd agree with you. I personally don't believe the average Chinese person isn't, which you may disagree with. Boeing doesn't represent an ideological push to re-shape the world order with a somehow 'more virtuous than though' laughable set of "cultural" values.
  4. I can just imagine any Chinese on here reading this - and there will be - will be having a really tough time with his or her levels of denial. Whoever you are just reassure yourself with the thought that this avoidable disaster that cost the lives of the local population is what your culture exports abroad to enrich the values of people's lives; common prosperity for all...
  5. Somebody is 'confused'.... You (confused one) must very out-of-touch with things back home and how the far-left think about these things. Or You (confused one) are blind to the many ardent nationalists from China in Bangkok, who as I say, are the easiest to provoke just as they are online. You (confused one) probably don't see any of this though do you!
  6. Extreme leftists would get het up about WHO the model wearing them is... so culturally inappropriate! Of all nations the Chinese have to be the easiest to provoke - Russians next.
  7. Does she have one with his ugly mug saying "KGB Weasel" - I DO hope. That's so on the mark.
  8. What became of her... πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”
  9. Could've but didn't... a little melodramatic aren't we?
  10. You can 'free from' stuff that impacts your being harder, the cold, the competition to survive and less for your money, ie. back home... but being free doesn't equate to having yourself to live with hour-to-hour, without purpose. Work gives you purpose, without it creating your own purpose is as challenging as work. So what is "freedom" exactly? We're never free from ourselves. Experiencing freedom can sometimes be better, when it's hard-earned. Nice topic btw πŸ‘
  11. It's heartening to see some pushback Thanakorn Khomkrit no doubt giving voice to a majority (of silent voices) though we all know the b*****ds in charge will do it anyway. There was a recent posting in an FB group of the abandoned casino complex in Pakse, Laos, where the archipelago rapids are a well-known natural beauty spot. It's been removed and there's very little up-to-date info online, after a quick search. The hated project has been left with empty shells of buildings looking a disgrace. The poster reported a trickle of water where the rapids used to flow. In the UK the Hippodrome, privately owned by millionaire Simon Thomas, makes hundreds of thousands in profits per week - AFTER paying half of that into the UK treasury in tax. Thailand will be rubbing its hands together over that prospect. Mr Thomas and his classic car collection will have friends high-up in Westminster of course.
  12. Whether you intended to or not... you have just reminded every sane male on here why going back home is not an option. Thank you kindly.
  13. ... you dated a Brit after living in Thailand 😳
  14. LOL on your last comment πŸ‘ πŸ‘ and I will add that I have recently seen signs of what you call 'real dropkick tourists' across town (BKK) in a majority-Thai area that normally attracts a small handful of visitors incl. Muay Thai folks... normally no problem at all right. However, you can always gauge your own reaction when you see some 'immigrant' and think to yourself.. 'how the hell did you afford to get here?' I am talking homeless-looking dirty attire, dreadlocks, and an air of illegitimacy and desperation.
