  1. Yes i did have another thread. My only concern was that the Thai Evisa website is saying the requirements are one thing and a Visa agent is saying another. I hate to go up there and apply for it to be denied because the website was wrong. I do have 400k in my Thai bank but only since May 5th The visa agent said you MUST have 40k + in the bank for at least 3 months. (Which i have not had) This is a copy paste from the actual Thai Evisa application website, 4 . Financial evidence showing monthly income of no less than 40,000 THB or having the current balance of 400,000 THB (e.g., bank statements for the last three months, sponsor letter)
  2. Yeah i think that's what i will do. Any thoughts on applying for the non O from here in Bangkok vs doing it in Lao? Benefits for one or the other? The Thai Evisa website says 40k a month OR 400k on a bank statement. The 2 visa agencies i spoke with said it HAS to be the 40k a month for 3 months for them do accept it which i thought was strange? I just recently put the 400k in my Thai bank, May 5th
  3. Yeah that might be the best bet, thanks for the info. I contacted these guys a little while ago https://www.meesuktravel.com/ who were recommended for a few friends who used them. They seem to require 40k baht for 3 months into the bank account even for a Non imm o spouse visa application for whatever reason so i dropped that idea since i wasn't prepared 3 months ago. I think i will just do the border bounce then apply for it from here it BKK.
  4. I'm located in Bangkok. The trip to Vientiane would be pretty easy.
  5. Yeah, working around her time frames are hard, she an engineer and travels a lot to jobsites that sometimes take longer than expected. My only concern with a border bounce is that - The past 2 years in Thailand i was on an ED visa. April 20th 2025 i came back in the country (not on the student visa anymore) And the officer at the airport was very upset i was on a student visa for 2 years. I'm not sure if he thought i was trying to come back in on it again or if he was just having a bad day but he said don't do it again and here is a 60 day stamp, get the right visa. So i fear a little bit leaving again and trying to come back in on another 60 day. That's why i was trying to extend it here or just go apply for the non O outside of TH. Trying to limit my risk of any other issues that may arise.
  6. She left this morning for at LEAST 2 weeks maybe longer. The 60 day is not possible based on the the time remaining.
  7. So.. long story semi short - I am married to a Thai national and here on a 60 day tourist stamp that expires on June 20th/2025 I was told that there isn't enough time to apply for the Non 0 90 day before my stamp expires so i should do the 60 day marriage extension first. This would be great but my wife is traveling for work and it appears she is required for the extension and will not be back in time. (I have never applied for the non o before) I did speak to a visa agency in BKK that say they could get my Non o done in time before my June 20th date but the price was a little crazy at 25k Baht I'm just looking for some advice. Is my best option to just go to Lao and apply for the non O from there? It looks like all the application process is now done from online and the website says 10-15 days processing time? Has anyone had that experience? Thanks for any information that may be provided.
  8. I can apply to the "Once married you can apply for a 60 day extension "to visit wife" even if I'm already in Thailand? Thanks
  9. Hello, Can anyone give me some advice on my situation? I am currently living in Bangkok and will be getting married the last week of May. I have been in Thailand for a few years and already have a bank account (Funded with 400k as of May/8/2025) Right now i am here on a 60 day stamp that expires on June 20th/2025. My thought was to do a 30 day extension on June 20th when my 60 day stamp expires so i can stay in the country until my 400k passes 60 days. Am i correct on assuming this is what needs to be done to apply for the Non-Immigrant O Spouse visa that's 90 days? If the timelines don't work, is there any other extension i can do without having to leave the country and apply for this from another country Thai embassy? Thanks
