TM30 Issue. Questions?
That is what i did, today. I had an appointment and all the paperwork i had was fine, she just said i had to update the TM 30. I provided a current TM30 with the correct address. Same one i used when i got married a few months ago, nothing was different. That's why i was confused.

TM30 Issue. Questions?
Chaeng Watthana immigration. My wife already has the page setup on the TM30 website with all our information on it. Should i have her delete everything and re-create it or just update another row of "The address to receive foreigners to stay"

TM30 Issue. Questions?
It was done when we applied for the 90 day Non O visa on June 4th. Is that not recognized since i didn't do it in April 22 when i got back into Thailand? I never left the country since April 22. Filling out the TM30 was required with proof when we applied for the Non O

TM30 Issue. Questions?
Maybe someone has some advice on this. I came back into Thailand on April 22, 2025 on a tourist visa. i STAYED in the country and got married on May 29th (still on my tourist stamp) On June 4th, 2025 We applied for the Non O spouse visa (90 day) which was approved. Now on Aug 1st, 2025 we applied for the 12 month Non O extension which was approved so my Visa is good until Sept 1, 2026. My FIRST 90 day check in is listed as Oct 29th, 2025. Today i went to immigration to try and get a residency certificate so i can legally get a Thai drivers license. They denied me saying i never updated my TM30 since i got into Thailand on April 22 which isn't true because i had to do it for the marriage paperwork. She didn't seem to care about explaining anything besides saying update the TM30 and comeback. My question is, what exactly do i update? The address is still the same, my wife owns her condo. Do i just add another row on "The address to receive foreigners to stay" and print that out and try to go back? I don't see anywhere else on the TM30 webpage to update anything else besides my wife's information. Are they asking this because my visa changed from tourist to 90 day Non o to 12 month non o? Does the TM30 just needs to be updated now? I thought TM30 never needs to be updated unless your address changed? ANY information would be much appreciated. I'm just a little confused.

Questions on processing times for non o
Yes i did have another thread. My only concern was that the Thai Evisa website is saying the requirements are one thing and a Visa agent is saying another. I hate to go up there and apply for it to be denied because the website was wrong. I do have 400k in my Thai bank but only since May 5th The visa agent said you MUST have 40k + in the bank for at least 3 months. (Which i have not had) This is a copy paste from the actual Thai Evisa application website, 4 . Financial evidence showing monthly income of no less than 40,000 THB or having the current balance of 400,000 THB (e.g., bank statements for the last three months, sponsor letter)

Questions on processing times for non o
Yeah i think that's what i will do. Any thoughts on applying for the non O from here in Bangkok vs doing it in Lao? Benefits for one or the other? The Thai Evisa website says 40k a month OR 400k on a bank statement. The 2 visa agencies i spoke with said it HAS to be the 40k a month for 3 months for them do accept it which i thought was strange? I just recently put the 400k in my Thai bank, May 5th

Questions on processing times for non o
Yeah that might be the best bet, thanks for the info. I contacted these guys a little while ago https://www.meesuktravel.com/ who were recommended for a few friends who used them. They seem to require 40k baht for 3 months into the bank account even for a Non imm o spouse visa application for whatever reason so i dropped that idea since i wasn't prepared 3 months ago. I think i will just do the border bounce then apply for it from here it BKK.

Questions on processing times for non o
I'm located in Bangkok. The trip to Vientiane would be pretty easy.

Questions on processing times for non o
Yeah, working around her time frames are hard, she an engineer and travels a lot to jobsites that sometimes take longer than expected. My only concern with a border bounce is that - The past 2 years in Thailand i was on an ED visa. April 20th 2025 i came back in the country (not on the student visa anymore) And the officer at the airport was very upset i was on a student visa for 2 years. I'm not sure if he thought i was trying to come back in on it again or if he was just having a bad day but he said don't do it again and here is a 60 day stamp, get the right visa. So i fear a little bit leaving again and trying to come back in on another 60 day. That's why i was trying to extend it here or just go apply for the non O outside of TH. Trying to limit my risk of any other issues that may arise.

She left this morning for at LEAST 2 weeks maybe longer. The 60 day is not possible based on the the time remaining.

Questions on processing times for non o
So.. long story semi short - I am married to a Thai national and here on a 60 day tourist stamp that expires on June 20th/2025 I was told that there isn't enough time to apply for the Non 0 90 day before my stamp expires so i should do the 60 day marriage extension first. This would be great but my wife is traveling for work and it appears she is required for the extension and will not be back in time. (I have never applied for the non o before) I did speak to a visa agency in BKK that say they could get my Non o done in time before my June 20th date but the price was a little crazy at 25k Baht I'm just looking for some advice. Is my best option to just go to Lao and apply for the non O from there? It looks like all the application process is now done from online and the website says 10-15 days processing time? Has anyone had that experience? Thanks for any information that may be provided.

400k deposit timeline questions
Hello, Can anyone give me some advice on my situation? I am currently living in Bangkok and will be getting married the last week of May. I have been in Thailand for a few years and already have a bank account (Funded with 400k as of May/8/2025) Right now i am here on a 60 day stamp that expires on June 20th/2025. My thought was to do a 30 day extension on June 20th when my 60 day stamp expires so i can stay in the country until my 400k passes 60 days. Am i correct on assuming this is what needs to be done to apply for the Non-Immigrant O Spouse visa that's 90 days? If the timelines don't work, is there any other extension i can do without having to leave the country and apply for this from another country Thai embassy? Thanks
