That's a whole month salary compensation from the government

the total number of people having been tested did not change since yesterday 25,071 tested as of yesterday.. and 25,071 total still having been tested as of today.

With a day off no one was tested and that's why the lower number... brilliant way to get the numbers down .. just stop testing. 

The UK with almost the same population has tested 10 times the number of people than in Thailand .. think about the real numbers if you multiply by 10

As the op asked... how do you setup a bank account to start with ... and for the 90 day visa does the money have to be in a thai bank or just proof that you have the funds elsewhere.

I can see setting up a Thai bank account taking more time than you have if they keep saying no.

I am looking at this process for the coming year and would like to know the best way to get a bank account..
