I've been booked in for a bike test. They didn't ask what category of licence I wanted or whether I'd be bringing my own bike, and I didn't think to check. They did say there was a written test beforehand.
If anyone could give me an idea of what to expect, that'd be excellent.

Do you need to be an expert to win fights in Thailand.
I have a decent jaw and not bad punches.
If anything kicks might need to be something I work on.
When fighting random people is it fair game?
depending on ur weight and age ill be happy to spire with you if u fancy it ?

Some of the 22 rules ?
I'd rather say all of them are pure nonsense.
if there is no reported case in Thailand why are they having these rules ?

Audi were giving 1-2 million bht discounts on some models. Still vastly overpriced like bmw and Mercedes though. Best buying one a couple of years old and hardly any mileage, basically half to two thirds the price.
looking back i wished id done that now what with the exchange rate.

I think pretty much everyone knows the answer to that one already. Much money changed hands for sure and it has bought a whole load of (for once, deliberate) incompetency, which will continue as long as needed. the "Boss" will not be coming back anytime soon.
in 8 years time maybe ?

Bitching about that after <deleted> hits the fan, is at best ignorant. There is no surprises in Thailand, everything is explained and information is everywhere, and if you ever visit a bar, you have been told these stories many times.
So the saying in Thailand, should be as follow "Fool me once, shame on me"
agree 100% fools and their money, you know the rest.

You'll never change their mentality. My wife reversed out of the house today straight into my car parked along side the road. No apology just "You shouldn't park your car on the road" and drove off. Should be fun when she gets home......
id park her on the road permanently if she spoke to me like that !

if you buy a property in Thailand buy it as a home, not an investment like you may in UK. then if when you sell it if you make money great and if you lose money, its only money you may of spent on renting a similar property anyway.

have travelled all over the world and never had any trouble cooking chicken breast till I came here and even then it was fine till about 6 months ago. I buy my chicken from central festival shopping center and for the life of me no matter How I cook it, in the frying pan, oven it always comes out hard and chewy. I have bought both the s-pure and the normal chicken and have problems with both....Anyone having the same problem and any solutions??
buy chicken thighs cook them in a slow cooker over night, great taste.

All you have to do is contact them and explain you are a foreigner and can't use wallet, and arrange to have the refund made to your bank account.
I agree that (1) there is no rational reason to bar foreigners from Wallet, at least not foreigners living in Thailand; and (2) given that they do so, refunds to wallet should not be the default. For that matter, even for Thais there should be an option as to channel of refund.
But it has been set up that way and it's an automated system. I would not read "rudeness" into it, just poor design.
All you have to do is contact them and explain you are a foreigner and can't use wallet, and arrange to have the refund made to your bank account.
are you sure thats a fact ? if that is true, thx in advance

I don't like driving here so we'd give her our car keys and a credit card to go grocery shopping with while we're working, so aside from this and the pick-up/drop-off at the MRT station,
good luck with that one 555
