  1. Thanks for you answer I am however more worried about something else not really related to visa. Nationality is recorded in Marriage Certificate. Im more worried US will not accept this as proof, when i submit CR1 and I provide a marriage certificate saying my wife is married to German national (not a US citizen) even though I do have US citizenship.

When checking if I can marry using my US passport I was told I have to use the passport I am in Thailand with.

  2. I am looking to get married in Thailand and have everything set. However I have an issue that I am a dual citizen and hold a passport for the US and for Germany. I want to marry using the US passport however I have traveled to Thailand with my German passport and thus have my visa and work permit tied to this nationality. Is this ok for getting married? We plan to do CR1 visa to go to the US but I am not sure if there will be complications if I married with my German passport.

  3. So I was planning to leave the company anyways and was already in the middle of interviews where they decided to fire me before I got an offer in my hand in which I would have then resigned.

I was fired on the 24th and signed an offer on the 26th with another company.

The issue now comes up with visa and WP. I'm in an awkward situation where they employer has canceled my WP and the new employer is unable to renew this due to some law. I can't remember what she said but something about 15 days before canceling. I will get more information tomorrow. Is there anyway for me to not have to do the whole leave Thailand and do non-b outside of Thailand again?

Currently I am able to stay in Thailand due to covid and free visa until the end of July.

If applying at the embassy in Kuala Lumpur it seems your list is not correct.

This is their checklist for doing the application.  http://www.thaiembassy.org/kualalumpur/contents/images/text_editor/files/5_1 Non Immigrant B Employment(1).pdf

Im pretty sure I have the right one. I do not have work permit yet nor a letter from labor office nor a WP3.

and a little clarity: I'm not employed yet. I had confusion with this as well and cleared that part up.

  5. So I have read the requirements online and tried to contact the embassy in Malaysia multiple times with of course no answer as well as no replies to my emails. The thing that confuses me is this:

    1. Completed Visa Application Form
    2. Original passport with at least 6-month validity and 1 blank visa page
    3. A copy of passport (ID page)
    4. A passport size photo (white/ blue background and taken within the past 6 months)
    5. **Letter from employer mentioning the applicant’s name, position, purpose and dates of visit to ThailandFor self-employed, business license/registration under the applicant’s name must be submitted.**
    6. Documents from counterpart in Thailand
      1. Invitation letter
      2. A copy of the company’s registration/business license
      3. A copy of the company’s list of shareholders
      4. A copy of the company’s latest balance sheet
      5. A copy of the company’s value-added tax (VAT) registration

The company gave me all these documents but only one invitation letter. Are there supposed to be two? Im getting the non-B to go back and have them do my work permit (seems they will do my work permit after I get my non-B).

since most things I read about are about teachers:

This is not a teachers job. Im getting hired as an application developer

Many thanks for your replies and help.
