Oh great, I applied for the Thailand Pass for the Phuket Sandbox on 23 January and I’m still waiting on them to review my application.

As an aside, I’m still waiting on the decision on my application for the Thailand Pass (Sandbox) despite having applied on 23/01. Nothing from them. Honestly, if it wasn’t for the fact that I’ve already committed the best part of a £1,000 I’d be f—king this off and asking my friend to meet me somewhere else E.g. The Philippines or Cambodia.

If I wasn't meeting up with a friend then I absolutely would not be visiting Thailand because of the stupid sandbox and test and go and test again regulations. I would instead be going to Cambodia for my two week holiday.

I received the same spam email and have only used http://tp.consular.go.th/

If you get an email like this: Do not click anything. Trouble is it looked to have come from a credible email domain. There's now a word of warning on the application page. Thailand Pass Registration System (for air travel only) (consular.go.th) Thank God for my antivirus software preventing me from clicking anything.

I've managed to make a pigs ear of things when booking my flight for March and didn't realise that the flight I have booked is actually LHR - Abu Dhabi - Phuket - BKK. I just thought it was going from LHR - Abu Dhabi - BKK. So I'm just wondering if I'll be okay to transit through Phuket and do Test and Go when I arrive at my final destination in Bangkok. If needs be I'm happy to stay in Phuket as I had intended to meet up with a group of farang friends in Bangkok and spend a few days in Bangkok before spending a few days in Phuket with said friends but I would prefer to save face and not tell them about my idiocy... ????‍♂️
